C 5-7 fusion
I have been treated by Dr. Buckley for lumbar spinal fusion and cervical fusion most recently. I found the Dr. and his staff to be very helpful explaining what my issues were and what could be done about getting rid of the pain. They were compassionate and caring. I highly recommend them.

I am not going to get into all the specifics other than this man should not be allowed to practice. I have been in healthcare 30yrs and have never been more disgusted then with this man.

STAY AWAY!
STAY AWAY!!! I am a 71 year old male and this is the worst doctor that I have ever experienced. He showed up 50 minutes late and never apologized. He didn’t even have the courtesy to send someone in to tell me that he was running late. Our appointment lasted roughly 15 minutes. He seemed irritated at me asking questions. I complained of lower back pain. He looked at the Xray of my spinal lumber area and unbelievably told me that I need to go to a Physical Therapist, which I did. I was very doubtful that this was going to work. The PT told me, from her limited knowledge of reading Xrays, that I have severe arthritis in my lower back and that PTs don’t treat such abnormalities. She did suggest a Dr. at UHS Hospital in Norwich, NY. This Dr. also agreed that my problem should NEVER have been referred to a PT. This Dr. performed a RadioFrequency Ablation. Walla! Pain no more!!! I have no doubt that Dr. Buckley is the most incompetent and inconsiderate Dr., that I have ever encountered.

Poor customer care
The office staff were absolutely horrible in regards to responding about my requirements for an injection.Did not call back, did not keep me informed, and sent me the wrong lab work on the last day that is was due before my injection. I will definitely be looking for a new provider. Nobody in that office seems to care, and just disregarded my concerns.

Wonderful, caring spine specialist
Dr. B was the 2nd of 3 spine surgeons I saw for spine problems. He was the only one that actually looked at my MRIs, not just read the report, and showed them to me so I could understand what was happening to my spine. One day post-op and I can’t sing his and his team’s praises more!

From day 1 of seeing the PA until surgery I never was rushed or ever felt like my questions were ignored. I felt that the whole team was caring yet professional. I am highly recommending the whole practice. Dr. Buckley did a great job fixing my herniation's. I also recommend the Physical Therapy Department. . Thanks for caring!

I have talked with the office in hamilton,ny they request you send your operative reports and images, you follow their instructions, their office people have the attitude of dismissiveness dont need your business disorganized during every conversation are never informed as if your calling for the first time dont have your patient info when you (return their call) to schedule an appointment, as if they have to find your info are they still in the hard copy era a click of a button, very scary

He is the worst and only made my much worst.find a good doctor in a bigger city like Syracuse or Albany . Everything I telling you people is a FACT I hope to save Simone from him and his educated guessing. God bless

Dr. Buckley treated me and two of my family members. My husband and brother both had successful surgeries after suffering truly disabling back pain for years. I, fortunately, did not need surgery and have been able to reduce most discomfort through the carefully constructed therapy I received. I must disagree with some of the comments regarding Dr. Buckley and his assistant. They were both pleasant and gave precise descriptions of our problems, as we viewed our xrays and mris. Worth the wait

He is brusk and could use a brush up course on edside manners. Waited over 2 HOURS for my appointment andhad a 40 minutes with a nurse and a PA. Dr uckley came in and looked at the CT scan and asked if I would like a shot for pain. I said NO after it was explained on possibly how long it might last. I was never told what I can do or not do with my deteriorates spine and disc. Never got a chance to ask as he was in a hurry. I DON'T NEED THAT TYPE OF MEDICAL MENTORING EVER.
