Dr. Rushi Patel, DDS

I'm 53 and never even had a toothache so I was a bit concerned when I fractured one of my upper wisdom teeth and it needed to be extracted. I had some concerns because I have a very large sinus cavity and the roots of my upper teeth go into my sinus. Dr Patel did my extraction and Did an excellent job. I never even had any pain or swelling whatsoever ( I also followed his instructions to a T). He is fabulous, as is his entire staff. They are kind, caring and compassionate. They made me feel very comfortable and answered any questions or concerns I had. He is the best oral surgeon around and is the only one I trust. Btw the office is so clean and sterile you could eat your lunch off the floor.Thank you so much Dr Patel and staff!! You guys are awesome!I would definitely recommend him to anyone needed oral surgery.

I had a sore in lower jaw of my mouth that wasn't getting better and my dentist in Clearwater was unable to refer me to and oral surgeon in Ocala where I now live. My wife's dentist recommended Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel saw me without hesitation the next day and found the sore to be a tumor and explained that a biopsy should be done to confirm his findings and referred me to UF Shands ENT during this appointment. He said I would hear from UF Shands in the next 3 days and I did. The care that I have received and continue to receive at UF is amazing. My options for treatment of my cancer boiled down to a complex surgery or parish, but I am blessed in that Dr. Patel took the time to see me and that he made the best recommendations for where I would receive the best care. Dr. Patel still takes time to call and check up on me. I've not enough words of thanks or praise for Dr. Patel.

I had a wisdom tooth extraction done, but it was partially boned in case I was giving a twilight sleep. I was very comfortable and at ease I like Dr. Patel and his staff immensely the extraction went extremely well and then about a year ago a tiny mass appeared on the left Side of my palet he did the biopsy what I have a mimics, a salivary gland, tumor thank goodness it wasn’t and that it was benign. He was so kind to call me to inform me about my biopsy. He sounded so happy for me too that it was benign. I would recommend Dr. Patel in a heartbeat. He’s very professional down to earth and very thorough. When telling you what to expect, he is the only oral surgeon. I will be calling in the near future thank you Dr. Patel and your staff for excellent care Abbie Cunha.

My daughter recently had oral surgery for wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Patel and every member of his staff with whom we dealt, were amazing! All of the office staff were friendly, informative and accommodating. Dr. Patel personally contacted us the evening prior to surgery to ensure that he addressed any concerns we may have had. He also contacted us post-surgery to check on my daughter. I highly recommend Dr. Patel's for anyone who requires his services!

Recently had a tooth extraction done by Dr Patel...everything went very well. He explained everything that was happening so that I would be at ease. He is very professional and also friendly at the same time so I was comfortable with the entire procedure. Dr. Patel along with the office staff did a follow up call to make sure I was still doing ok after being sent home. Will be recommending this buisness to anyone needing advanced dental/ mouth surgery.

I have used Dr. Patel a number of times, and he has been kind, compassionate, courteous, knowledgable, funny, and professional from start to finish. His staff all know a lot about what goes on the practice, too- they always seem able to answer questions off the cuff OR they get an answer from the doctor and get right back to me. Professional outfit, highly recommend.

Dr. Patel removed a growth from my tongue on May 21, 2021. He spoke with me before, during and after the procedure and each step was thoroughly explained by all involved. During the procedure Dr. Patel kept checking with me to see if I was okay and stated that I was tolerating the surgical aspects very well. His chairside manner made me feel even more at ease as he and his staff worked on me. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his staff at the Ocala, FL office.

Dr. Patel is probably one of the best Drs I have dealt with. His professionalism, skillset and overall medical knowledge is phenomenal. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and she had no issues; as Dr. Patel gave excellent surgical care and after care directions. The man and his staff are super-duper!

I was referred to Dr. Patel by my general dentist for an extraction. An appointment was made for an assessment. I never saw ANY doctor or had a doc's assessment.... Instead, I was ramrodded into pre-surgery testing spree. I find that outrageous for them to assume that I would just come in, and have a procedure that was never explained to me. It is MY DECISION as to whether or not I have any procedure. I want a refund of an assessment fee and have sent Dr. Patel a letter explaining why and I expect a refund for services not rendered...I would never recommend an office like this..

Dr. Patel maintains the highest standards of patient care. His dedication to his craft and to his patients are second to none. He truly is a big fish in a small pond and I’m grateful for the time he has given me and my family, and for the patience he has shown us. He rescheduled my appointment due to fears I had about anesthesia, and didn’t leave me feeling ashamed or embarrassed. Once I built up the courage to get the procedure done, he was welcoming and reassured me by actually showing me the precautions he takes in his office. No price is enough for the professionalism and care given by him and his associates. Although my health dictates that I never want to see him again, I would recommend him to anyone that needs his services.

I was very impressed by the complete experience of my son having all 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Patel at the Ocala office. From the first phone call to the office through the day of the surgery and post surgery check up call, everyone was very professional, kind and helpful. Excellent customer service, all questions answered. I travelled from Gainesville to Ocala to have the service of Citrus oral and facial surgery, based on their extremely pleasant helpful office staff. My view is, if the first contact, phone call with a company is that good the rest of the service must also be very good. I certainly was not disappointed. I posted the negative review about not seeing a doctor when I went for my appointment. After the review was shown I was contacted and the doctor explaind to me that I should have been asked whether I needed to see a doctor when making the initial appointment. he said some people do not need to see the surgeon and that way they can take care of more people in the long run. Since I was not asked I received a very sincere apology and he stated they would try to correct the situation when the appointments are made. I have to commend dr. Patel for taking the steps to correct the situation which was just human error.

Dr. Patel removed 2 molars &1 wisdom tooth. The wisdom tooth was broken off at gum line, a large molar was standing strong even tho 2 rather large pieces of it had broken off in different places, and the 3rd molar just cracked right in half -- all the way thru beyond the gum line. I am terrified of dental work (I find it barbaric) and try to take really good care of my teeth to avoid having to go to the dentist, but time has taken it's toll. Dr. Patel put me at ease immediately from the first time I met him. He recommended sedation due to my anxiety which I already planned on getting. The most important thing to me is how I'm treated and the skill level of my provider. I was treated exceptionally, immediately put at ease, was able to request my favorite music, and after surgery felt better than I ever thought I would. He personally called to check on me the evening of the surgery (as he does every patient). I trust Dr. Patel implicity and recommend him without any doubt whatsoever.

Dr. Patel is kind and caring, he did a fantastic job with my implant oral surgery. Willing to answer questions, he was honest, did not try to oversell me on additional implants I was previously told I needed but were physically unnecessary. Following his thorough instructions I had little pain following the surgery. His staff is compassionate and helpful in all areas from care to insurance questions. Highly recommended!

Tooth removal, bone grafting, sinus lifting, implant. Being not comfortable to seeing dentist Dr. Patel did the best job to make me comfortable for surgery. No swelling, bleeding or pain after surgery. Procedure excellently performed. Very professional. Highly recommended to everyone looking for implant procedure.

Dr. Patel is a great doctor. He is friendly, caring, extremely competent and he gave me the feeling of being a friend. His office and procedure areas are neat and very clean. His staff is excellent, friendly and answers all question truthfully. Dr. Patel had to do extensive work to me. I am 76 years old and all my teeth were broken or wore down to the gums. He prepared me for dentures. I wish all my doctors were of the same caliber as Dr. Patel. I was more than satisfied!

Recently I met Dr. Patel for an extraction of 2 molars. The whole situation made me very anxious, not only for the oral surgery part but also because I have rarely had anesthesia. From the moment I met Dr. Patel and his very professional staff, I felt safe and confident that I was in the exact right place for this. His own confidence assured me that there was nothing to worry about. He gave the anesthesia painlessly, and his staff operated quietly with care and efficiency. Thank you Dr. Patel.

There aren’t enough words to praise Dr. Patel. Aside from the fact that I am pain free after two extractions yesterday, he and his entire staff did their best to make me feel relaxed. If I should ever again need oral surgery, Dr. Patel will definitely be my choice.

Dr. Patel is one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. His skills as an oral surgeon are second to none. He makes sure that all of your questions are answered prior to surgery and even post surgery, he personally follows up. The staff in his office are wonderful.
