I can not say enough of good words for Dr. Stahl. This being my husband's first operation Dr. Stahl absolutely made a great impression on both of us. Not only did he take time to answer questions but I also saw him in the hall way of the hospital and when I started asking some questions he took the time to answer them. We really believe that Dr. Stahl has the knowledge and professional experience of being a great doctor and also who cares about their patients. So many doctors do not care now days. Thank you Dr. Stahl. I would recommend you to our friends and anyone we know if they need bypasses.

I had been experiencing increasing and multiplying issues with my heart. Aortic Stenosis, Aortic Fibrillation, fluid around the heart and instances of Chronic Heart Failure. Having been hospitalized in CA in December and then again in February I was fortunate to have been seen by the team at Grand Strand Medical Cardiology and Heart. Dr. Stahl devoted much time in educating me on both my medical condition as well as reviewing best procedures in addressing them. I have adult children throughout the country and he made certain that he would communicate with them as well as a surgeon in my family. I as his patient and we in our community are blessed to have him.

Strictly by accident, another hospital's ER found I had an ascending aortic aneurysm that they urged I have checked. On their recommendation, I made an appointment with Dr. Stahl to help ease my fear and concern about what this diagnosis meant for me and how to stave off the need for surgery if able. Although my first impression of him was positive, he quickly made me feel like a hypochondriac whose previous cardiologist findings were wrong or made to appease me, and then he seemed more concerned about the current medications I was on like I was or soon to be a prescription drug addict. I also felt he insinuated I doctor hopped when in fact my changing of doctors has been primarily due to their lack of experience, concern, or taking the time to care and listen. Needless to say I once again left a doctor's office feeling defeated and more frustrated opposed to feeling I had met a doctor in which to build a long standing rapport to monitor my health.

I was sent to the ER due to fluid around my hear prior to a stress test. Within 4 1/2 hours the fluid had been drained and I was sent home the next morning. Dr. Stohl spoke in understandable terms and keep me informed through th entire procedure. Once done he called my regular heart doctor and explaingped how everything went and how I was doing. I thought he was great.
