Abominable

Rude, disrespectful, hateful, mean, horrible disposition, wouldn’t allow me to say a word, she couldn’t have cared LESS about why I was so sick. I wouldn’t even give her one star if I didn’t have to!!!

So rude!!!
Telehealth
My experience with Ruthann Cunningham was AWFUL! She was so unbelievably rude and condescending, which instantly made me feel uncomfortable in our appointment. The moment I started trying to explain to her my concerns, she rolled her eyes, sighed loudly and acted like I was wasting her time and she made gestures as if to hurry me along. I actually stopped talking, shook my head and laughed to myself because I just couldn’t believe I was witnessing such unprofessionalism. She had an extremely bad attitude from start to finish. She didn’t listen to a word I said and she gave me her opinion of my teeth, rather than the issue at hand (not dental related!!) I was so shocked by how rude she was, that I couldn’t believe that she still has a job working directly with patients. She came across agitated, impatient, rude and grossly unprofessional.

Does not treat patient with dignity
Telehealth
This doctor does not respect her patients. She laughed multiple times when I was explaining my problem. I happen to have a PhD and I'm pretty sure I wasn't talking non-sense. However, she had a superiority attitude and laughed multiple times when I was describing my problems. I would never go to her again.

Seemed to brush off my concerns, as well as me telling her that I've used the same Rx for years with great results. Forced me to switch to a new product. Rushed me and kept making me feel like the issues with connection were my fault even though I saw the issue was on her end.

She was conscientious about making sure I got the appropriate treatment and referred me to Urgent Care, which I appreciate. She was insensitive, however, about the context of my cat bite injury. She actually suggested I "need to get a new cat", not knowing that this cat had been stressed by two prior and very recent times when I had to put him in the carrier for a vet visit and by his rapidly worsening illness. In fact, a few days later, my beloved cat died. She had no business shaming/judging me or my cat for the awful situation we were in. This cat was normally not one to bite, but in fact was sweet and affectionate and playful. We loved this cat dearly and we are grieving, and her comment has left a bitter taste behind.

Quack Quack

If you have Anthem, and use the online K-Health Chat and get 'Dr. Cunningham,' end your chat. She will not assist you. Everyone knows what over the counter meds are available to treat viral infections and sinus issues, especially 'Dr. Cunningham.' That's all she will offer. You are better off talking to your local pharmacist if you cannot get in with you PCP. Her service was no better nor genuine. Give me your card info and move on!

Thanks for the $100 copay...
I spoke with her in a virtual visit for an ear infection. Just a run of the mill ear infection. She wouldn't prescribe antibiotics and said I needed to go to urgent care immediately even though I told her I don't have good coverage and the urgent cares around me were closed. She said that "It seemed I didn't have an ordinary ear infection and it seemed more severe than treatment with drops or pills." I disagreed since I didn't feel too bad, it was just that my ear was clogged, painful, and I was having some jaw pain. If I had a severe infection, wouldn't I have a fever? I went to urgent care in the morning and what do you know... it's just an ordinary ear infection. Got my antibiotics and after 2 doses I'm already feeling better. Thanks for the $100 copay for making me go to urgent care instead of just giving me a prescription yourself.

Absolutely horrible
I had a telehealth chat with this woman and she was one of the most unprofessional doctors I’ve ever encountered. She was rude and extremely condescending. I ended up going to urgent care 2 days later and being treated for a severe inner ear infection and sinus infection, due to her not listening to me and refusing to treat me. She should seriously get her license taken away- avoid!!

Rude and dismissive
I had a virtual visit with her and she basically gaslit me the whole time. I know my body and I know what a sinus infection feels like, but she completely dismissed my concerns and was VERY condescending. She ended up exiting the chat without a goodbye while I was still talking. Avoid this lady at all costs- she does NOT care about treating the patient, it’s simply another dollar for her.

ZERO STARS
She was rude and insensitive. I explained that my symptoms were synonymous with a prior dx as I’m susceptible to upper respiratory infections as well as been exposed to a sick individual. She ended the chat before providing further tx. Highly unprofessional & bad bed side manners- AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Dismissive
I had a sinus infection and needed antibiotics. I’ve gotten them since I was little. She told me that sinus infections are very rare and that they didn’t treat reoccurring sinus infections at K-Health and to make an appointment with another doctor in person.

Rude and unhelpful
Completely misdiagnosed my symptoms by not even reading the information I provided and would not even listen. She cut my chat off multiple times when I was trying to clarify or ask questions. No care provided. Just links to information.

I left a review previously but it was not approved because it was an allegation. So let's be 100% objective: I was physically struck by her and on multiple occasions she used profanity towards me.
