Horrible office visit
Horrible visit, my appointment was at 3:30pm several patients that came after me were seen and left the office. I inquired with the front desk staff and she told me there is another Dr. here seeing patients. I went to sit back down after 2 hours of waiting I finally went back and seen Dr. Ruthann Lipman. She was very rude, never greeted me just said 'what's going on with your issue'. Never once did she appologized for seeing me 2 hours after my schedueld appointment time. I will never return to her offiice. Healthcare professionals should be compassionate to their patients, not make them feel like they are a burden. I should have read over the reviews before going to her office. I forgot to mention once I was back she only seen me for 5 minutes or less. If I could give no star I would.........

Horrible visit. My ears were impacted and without explaining she just started digging away. Very painful and couldn't help moving at times. She told me " she was going to puncture my eardrum if I keep moving" finally told her to stop and I will have to go back, she said she would have been done in 30 seconds. Never been treated so poorly. Will not go back

Friendly and caring
I went to see Dr. Lipman for an ear wax removal. She was very friendly coming in and explained what she was doing as she was doing it. Staff was very nice too. Slightly uncomfortable process/procedure but not too bad. Addressed some other issues and I got further with Dr. Lipman than any other doctor when it came to getting other testing/procedures done. Still experiencing some issues that were not yet solved but hopefully with further testing this will be fixed.

Thyroid surgery: I think it went well-that's what I heard someone say as I was coming out of anesthesia. Last I saw of her. Resident who saw me next day was absolutely clueless and resident a week later at office could or would not answer a couple of my important questions. I feel kind of abandonded

My girlfriend had a recent appointment with Ruthann Lipman for an ear cleaning. During the procedure she kept her head still as instructed but the doctor was very rough with her left ear and she felt a sharp pain in her ear while the doctor was working. When she asked if everything was OK, the doctor didn’t bother to respond. Later that day, the pain wasn't too bad, but gradually worsened. When the pain didn’t go away after a week, she made an appointment with her PCP. She was told that her ear canal was inflamed because of a scratch from the ear cleaning and was given a prescription for antibiotic ear drops for the infection. This injury should never have happened, leading to her need to take antibiotics that she shouldn't need to be taking. This doctor has no regard for her patients and is very rude and dismissing of any patient concerns or questions. The staff however were very nice to deal with.

Over the weekend I developed a earache and could not hear at all from one of my ears. I called Dr Lipman’s office at 8:30 on Monday morning and got in to see her at 11:00. She took care of my ear blockage and I felt better immediately.
