Missed 10cm mass
I had a mammogram done in February 2022 after I found a concerning lump in my right breast. Dr. Buss interpreted the results stating there was no mass or fluid build up. I pushed my doctor for further testing in which an MRI, then biopsy was done diagnosing me with invasive ductal carcinoma that spread to my lymph nodes. I myself am a nurse and this lump that was of concern was visible and palpable and the MRI measured it at 10cm. How was this missed on my mammogram? There was not only one tumor but there were 3! All of which were missed on the mammogram Dr. Buss read.
