Dr. Ryan D'Souza, MD

I have had 3 injections at Mayo Clinic and Dr. D'Souza was by far the best experience. I liked how he let me know what he was doing the entire procedure and I was able to cope with the 1-2-3 method which calmed me and allowed me to deal with the mild pain. It is not comfortable to get these injections but the manner in which the physicians do them with the patient's anxiety in mind, has alot to do with the overall experience. I've been a nurse for 50 years. I highly approve and recommend Dr. D'Souza. (I flew up from Mexico to have the RFA. So happy that I did!! PAIN FREE AFTER 5 YEARS OF CHRONIC PAIN after being T-boned by a truck). Grateful for Mayo and the wonderful physicians there.

Doctor D'Souza did my injection for pain I had for years and it worked! I have been having back pain for decades and could not find an answer. I have received many injections from other pain doctors. Doctor D'Souza offered me a stem cell injection for pain and it took care of all my pain. I have not felt this good since i was a teenager. He took the time to listen to my story and answer all my questions. Thank you Doctor!

Dr. D'Souza performed a pain injection on me that was the same injection I have received many times over the years at Mayo Clinic. However, this time he poked and prodded me over and over and wiggled the needle under the skin so much that my tissue was damaged and I was in excruciating pain for days. He was also the only injection doctor that warned me ahead of time that I would need to ice the injection site as if he knew he was going to cause more damage than any other doctor. If I did not know the exact cause of the damage, I would have been in the ER the pain was so bad. He is a far worse doctor than any other doctor I've had before and will never see him again, even if he was the only option. Afterwards when I complained, he blamed me and said I was asking for it. Totally unprofessional.

Dr. D'Souza has taken care of me and my pain for a couple years. He is so thorough with his care and always spends the time to take care of me - He is compassionate and I feel like I am actually being listened to. He does a wonderful job describing all my options for pain control and I am so thankful that my pain is doing well because of him!

Arrogant and condescending , kept changing plans, always doing more tests, passed me around to several doctors, then when I complained, he canceled my appointments, then fedexed me a letter telling me they would not offer me any help, claiming i was inappropriate toward staff.
