For 4 or 5 months, My husband has been trying to get the Inspire procedure done by Dr. Duncan. He has made numerous calls regarding when this can be done. His health is deteriorating due to this long delay. Please respond to this message. Thank you, Dianne Benedict (spouse)

Tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy
Dr Duncan is amazing and my son's surgery went well but his pain management has been a real struggle. He had surgery 8am Monday, he didn't get his first dose of pain meds till 5pm which is not the Dr fault but we had trouble finding somewhere that had the med to fill. He was miserableto say the least...he was doing well, eating, drinking, an resting well... OK fast forward a week to the following Monday my son is out of pain meds an not able to relax, much less eat or drink, he is shaky w pain from his throat and ears. The office never returned my call last Friday or today, im still waiting at 11:30 after calling again which is feeling kinda disrespectful to my son and I, someone could at least call me back, an direct me on what to do to help

Dr Ryan previously took out my daughters tonsils and adenoids. So she has been a patient of his. She currently has an impacted ear that I was told by an urgent care P.A. to go to an ENT for. She is in pain and cannot hear well out of it. I called the office and was told she couldn't get in for over a month because she hasn't been seen by him in years. She cannot hear out of her ear. This is ridiculous to wait that long for an impacted ear with hearing loss. Greatly disappointed. If you don't have enough issues to consistently see him, you are considered a new patient again. She is in pain.

Saw Dr. Duncan in reference to workers comp injury. Primary workers comp doctor had already prescribed me the same thing Dr. Duncan was going to. Dr. Duncan got mad and scolded me like a child because I did not take "his" medication. Told him I wasn't going to double dose. Had a hearing test with his office same visit. Never discussed results and when I asked the nurse after the appointment, she said results were "good." Went to another ENT and have hearing loss, tinnitus and eustacian tube dysfunction, so obviously not fine. As a result of his behavior/lack of treatment, disputed the bill with the office manager and Dr. Duncan refused to adjust the bill. I would not recommend him to anyone.

We called the office to schedule the appointment for my son. I already explain what my son's sitatuon and check with them if they can see my son. They said yes. So I ask our pediatrician t change the refer from Vandy to here. However, when we got there, they said they do not have the equipment to check my son and refer us back to Vandy again. It is time consuming. And after the appointment, for the following issue, the office lady is not helping just mention it is between me and Vandy.

I drove from Chattanooga to Franklin for my tonsillectomy with Dr. Duncan. He performs a "Tissue Welding" procedure for tonsillectomies that has a much faster recovery time and reduced recovery pain than traditional methods. Very few doctors in America use this method (Only about 25. 2 in Tennessee, none in Georgia) The drive was well worth it. His office is not some giant, corporate-feeling office. It is a small, intimate practice that you don't see very often now days. Normal Rockwell-ian

Wonderful Doctor. He has a caring bedside manner and never makes you feel like he is rushing you out of the office. I had polyps removed from my sinuses and it has made all the difference in the world. Easy recovery from the surgery and a year later I've not even blown my nose one time. Highly recommend Dr. Duncan.

I have gone to many ENTs for a condition that occurred several times, lasting about 3 days each time. No one was able to diagnose the problem but him. When it occurred, it seemed as though I had a finger in my ear and couldn't get it out. The Eustachian tube was clogged, which was caused by allergies. Since visiting him, I have not had the problem in about 3 years. Dr. Duncan is kind, very patient, and explains things extremely well. I highly recommend him. I am so grateful for his help.

I needed a second opinion on my thyroid and Dr. Duncan worked me in the next day as a new patient. He truly has the best bed side manner of any doctor I've seen. I was very impressed with his knowledge and personality. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an ENT.
