Horrible dr, arrogant, barely spends anytime with me, and because my insurance changed, dropped me like a hot potato, barelygave me meds and couldnt recommend anyone else for me to see.

Dr Flannery review
He slyly vetted me for vigilante inclinations by saying “ you know if a doctor did that to me , I’d take a baseball bat to their houses “ he wanted to see how I would respond .then he said he couldn’t do anything for my severe pain . On my medical records he wrote “ patient is delusional, she thinks she has a false lower lip “ I have a failed synthetic skin graft in my lower lip which no one has bothered to biopsy and check chemical composition. Everything he did was probably not his place to say

Dr. Flannery
Dr. Flannery has been treating me for disc problems since 2018. He has always taken the time to sit and listen to what and how I am feeling then offers his advise in a very professional manner. He never rushes the appointment and always makes me feel at ease and is compassionate to my issues. He has performed multiple (between 7-10) injections for me I have always felt relief from his work. His professionalism and courtesy is second to none because the man actually cares how his patients feel from his work. His recommendations for pain relief are acceptable and reasonable. I recommend him to a good friend and neighbor of mine and he showed them the same courtesy and respect that he has to me over the multiple years he has treated me. I would and will recommend Dr. Flannery to anyone who suffers from chronic pain.

Disgusting Human Being
I have never in my life experienced a doctor, LET ALONE HUMAN. like this. If I can save ONE person from having to experience the condescending comments, arrogance, and disrespect of this Dr. this review is worth it. Please, visit anyone else. ANYONE ELSE. I am reporting him. I recently moved to PA and got to his office for my first visit about 20-25 minutes early. I was the first appointment and when I got there the door was locked. I was early, so waited 10 minutes then called from outside to let them know the door was locked. The staff was very nice and said I was a little early and they’d come open the door. They must have forgot to come unlock the door and I waited with other patients outside for about 30 more minutes. (We assumed they were busy/Dr wasn’t there and thats why they didn’t unlock the door.) After 30 minutes, I receive a call asking if I’m coming to my appointment and I again say we’re outside the door is locked. The staff was very apologetic and came to let everyone

Poor excuse for a doctor.
I've been to several pain specialist physicians over my 20 plus years of having back pain. This guy is without a doubt the worst. Save your time and go see someone else, ANY ONE, I'm talking veterinarian, no offense to veterinarians. AHN, please review this clown, get rid of him, he gives your facility a bad name. Reminds me, what do you call a doctor who got all C's in college? Doctor. Do I have to give any stars?

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! When I realized how terrible Flannery is I got up in the middle of our appointment and left. AHN needs to look at this guy's reviews and get rid of him. I would not recommend you or any member of your family to see Flannery.

On my first visit, the entire staff was courteous, attentive and thorough. Both the fellow and the doctor listened carefully, explained my problem and described the proposed procedure. A few days later, a social worker called me to discuss the emotional aspects of my condition. At the time of my epidural injection I was uncomfortable with the local anesthetic being administered by the fellow. Dr. Flannery took over the procedure and completed it in a gentle and caring fashion, demonstrating and explaining every step to the new fellow. What a great teacher! I am very fortunate to have found Dr. Flannery and the doctors in his fellowship program are blessed to learn from him.

My husband's report was that Dr. Flannery was rude, arrogant, and not interested in his full history; which may or may not be contributory, but for a new patient he should schedule time accordingly to listen to their history and narrative. More disconcerting my husband said, was his blatant unprofessionalism, saying other doctors don't know what they are doing. Seems he's only interested in making sure he is able to bill for the most expensive, rather than examine other strategies that might work with a patient, and build their trust. Only one star given as one had to be entered.

Hes the worst dr ive ever met!! Same as his other reviews! I have herniated discs and A.S. and I suffer deep pain in my back that makes me break sometimes and ive been told by surgeons I have a great tolerance for pain! He wanted to cut my meds and then make me sick and drive down to see him weekly to count my pills when I had my drs report that ive been tested monthly with drug testing cause of the meds ive been on and they show ive always taken my meds as prescribed for 10 years!! I DONT DRINK etc. No reason for him to treat me like a piece of garbage but that is his way!! After reading his reviews I feel so much better seeing he is a rude incompetent jerk that says hes not treating me bad I know now its just Ryan Flannerys bedside manner! I will report him to my insurance and warn my friends and family!! As for my old dr he seemed jealous of his success he was mad that my other dr helped me so much!! My old Dr has all 5 Star reviews Respect for people makes a difference Ryan!

Dr. Flannery and Dr. Light were extremely professional and down to earth. Very easy to talk to and understand as they explain everything. I was referred for a epidural injection for my L5-S1 and it was the easiest and most efficient procedure i've ever had done. I was very apprehensive when I read these reviews but this whole process has been Great! Will definitely use again if needed but as of 4 days after the procedure all my pain is gone!

The most condescending, arrogant Dr. I've ever been to. I do not recommend. I reported him to my insurance company and to his employer. When I told him I was on disability, he looked askance at me and said for osteoarthritis. I told him I lived in my own home and was responsible for the upkeep inside and out, he suggested I should move into an apartment. Just downright nasty,

After I had three bouts of pancreatitis over the course of four months I decided to do what the team of doctors stated and go see Dr. Flannery. It took two appointment reschedulings due to my condition and waiting almost two months after my final bout to finally see him. I went to the "Pain Clinic" in the basement of AGH and I had to wait as the staff was out to lunch. Then as I was taken into a room after that the doctor stated he couldn't help me, and would advise doctors from helping me. No.

1 appointment and I found Dr. to be very personable and understanding. I walked out feeling releaved and pleased with recommend treatment. I walked in office to make an appt and was in the following week. Stopped after an appointment and asked if there was a canceled slot I could have so I didn’t have to wait 2 hrs for my appt and bingo . I was registered and saw Dr. and out the door in an hour. Hope this trend continues and I no longer have to Dr. shop. I am very pleased.
