We love Dr. Joo!
My husband was hospitalized for a bad staph infection after he got surgery to repair his achilles tendon, and we were (fortunately!) assigned Dr. Joo at Huntington Hospital as the Infectious Disease specialist. During our stay in the hospital - and after - we've interacted with multiple surgeons, internal medicine doctors, etc and Dr. Joo stands out for his genuine care and patience. He takes time to listen and understand, and makes himself easily reachable for follow-up questions. When an important lab result wasn't ready at an appointment, he proactively followed up the next day to share the results. And it's also the little things that reflect how he sees patients as people: remembering our names, taking into account our circumstances & constraints in his treatment plan. During a stressful time, Dr. Joo was a calming ray of gentle sunlight. Couldn't recommend him more highly.

I met this Dr while I was admitted in Arcadia Methodist. He is thorough, easy to speak with and has a very nice bedside manner. He visited me every day and always had time to completely answer my many questions, never rushing out. I highly recommend this Doctor and am very pleased he is handling my case. After my release from the hospital, he continues to give me the best care and treatment possible. I have had same excellent experience with Ray, his staff. Always great follow up.
