Dr. Ryan Menchaca, MD

New patient and have very impressed with him and his staff. Takes the time to connect and talk to you, has taken a moderate approach to what I need to change in my lifestyle to positively affect my health where it needs it. He has made sure I understand what he's talking about and has a great approach. Couldn't be happier with having him as my GP.

Dr. Ryan Menchaca is the WORST doctor I have ever been to in my life!! BEWARE! Miney is his motivation, not patients!! I went to him for the first time about a year ago. On our FIRST appointment he changed the cocktail of meds that I had been on for over 20 years with another doctor (retired). That combination was carefully constructed after many trials and tribulations. In one day he ripped that from me! The last year I have struggled with my health each and every day. I went today (after they "rescheduled" me 3 times since June at their request). They had taken me off the books. I no longer have a doctor, my meds that he put me on are keeping me sick and he simply made sure I had refills (of the meds that aren't working) and sent me on my way. So now I have to find a new doctor, wait for an appointment and start the cocktail process all over again. Money is his motivation, NOT patient care. Dr. Menchaca is friendly, genuinely interested in his patients, and willing to listen and ensure he understands their concerns before moving on to another patient. In just a short 5 months as his patient, have been more than impressed by his knowledge and ability to talk to people to help his patients get the treatment they need. Where has this guy been the past 20 years? Wouldn't dream of changing doctors.

He is very personable and exudes empathy for your well being. I have been going to Baylor for 30 years. This was my first appt with Dr. Menchaca, and I went for Rx refills. He was cautious about the medicines I asked for, and, in the end, did not completely honor my requests. I would have thought with my 30 year history I would not seem like I was drug seeking.

Absolutely recommend him. He’s personable, asks questions to show he cares about you and is thorough. I love him!!!!!!

Ryan is very smart and knowledgeable. He takes a broad spectrum on your symptoms and personal needed to specificity tailor what YOU need. He trout cares about YOU. And listens to you. ?? ???? Adore him. And recommend him. Hands down???
