My husband almost died due to Dr oharas procedure
Dr ohara did two procedures on my husband. The first one was successful. However, my husband almost died from the second procedure. If it was not for the quick actions of holy cross hospital in west Jordan and the quick action of a vascular surgeon at ihc. My husband was in icu for almost 2 weeks. Dr. Ohara insisted that my husband had to have the2nd procedure where he accidentally cut a hole in a main artery. Certain Dr's at ihc said my husband did not need the second procedure. one of their surgeons fixed the hole by stint insertion. Dr oharas office claimed that Medicare would pay for both procedures, but Medicare denied payment for the second procedure, yet,to this day the doctor insists it was ne essay. Meanwhile, we had to pay over $1,000 for a procedure that was unnecessary and almost killed my husband.

Ryan treated my husband in 2013 for his pancreatic cancer. He used y-90 to treat the tumors in his liver. He is an amazing Doctor. I feel like we had a good relationship with him at the time of treatment. When my husband developed serious complications from a procedure his PA performed, He could have treated him better. He wasn't as good in an emergency situation and lost sight of the goal to see the patient through. My husband nearly died from this complication. I wish he wouldn't have let us down in that situation. If it weren't for my husbands sheer determination to live, He would be gone for sure.
