Horrible
Horrible bedside manner- but great on arrogance with a demeaning disposition.

Hip Replacement
I needed a right hip replacement an lucked out and got Dr. Ryan. He was wonderful. I was up and back to work within a month. If you don't go see him, there is something else wrong with you.

Full knee replacement
My visit was professional and timely. Dr.Pizinger has been helping me with my knees for years. He has used the least invasive measures before finally recommending two full knee replacements. I just had my right knee done three days ago and I already can tell the surgery will be a success. Of course I am sore, but it is a very different kind of pain than the chronic arthritis I am dealing with. Having my left knee done as soon as my body has recovered from my right knee. I fully anticipate being pain free in the next year. Also his staff were professional and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Pizinger.

Successful mincus repair surgery - very happy
Excellent doctor, met in person, he examined my knee, we discussed options with me. It was determined as a mincus tear, surgery was performed successfully, and I have minimal scars and recovered completely, with no issues or pain. I would recommend him to anyone.

Arrived for my scheduled appointment only to find out they cancelled. Staff told me, “We tried to call and leave a message on March 16, but you don’t have voicemail.” Do not waste your hard earned money with them.

The following are my opinions based on my experience with Dr. Ryan Pizinger while under his care for my injured knees (e.g., bilateral quadriceps tendon rupture). My experience with Dr. Ryan Pizinger was terrible. His surgical attempts to repair my knees had some bad results, especially with the left knee because it compromised the quadriceps tendon repair. He claimed this was caused by allergic reactions to the sutures that he used for the initial repair attempt. He seldom volunteered information, and when questioned, he sometimes got defensive/disturbed and gave sketchy answers. He contradicted himself a few times and was not trustworthy. The last straw was his failed attempt to drain fluid (caused by a torn meniscus) from my left knee. I was disgusted with him and went to another orthopedic surgeon who took good care of my left knee.

Dr. Pizinger replaced my left hip in August 2016. He and his staff did a phenomenal job. Four years later I'm grateful for the work that was done.

My surgery with Dr. Pizinger was a great success. I highly recommend him! The office staff on the other hand...HORRIBLE! Every support person in this office from the front desk to the nurses are rude and condescending. Whether in person or on the phone, you're made to feel like they're doing you a great honor by allowing you to be seen at their office. I've been to 2 of their offices and it's always the same. They are honestly so rude it would almost be comical if it weren't so insulting.

I had a 2:10 appointment a week ago. I got into the examining room at 2:30. I did not see this doctor until 4:10. I needed another appointment and asked the person at the desk why that day's visit had been so disgustingly long. She told me that the doctor wants to spend time with patients. Fine, but is it professional to keep a person in an examining room for 100 MINUTES. If next time isn't better than this last wait, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Faucet in bathroom did not work.
