Great balance of knowledge, and personable manner
I was pleasantly surprised with my first visit with Dr. Richard’s, and all of the staff I encountered. It’s easy to see he’s not only quite experienced and knowledgeable within his field, but also has a genuine interest and concern for his quality of work. I found him to be above average (in my experience) for not only seeming to employ integrity as a Doctor, but also a genuine well as a concern for his patients. He was great with explaining every option, including the statistics of what improvement could be expected, and details on results of different options. He has also gone above & beyond by taking it upon himself to design a card listing different treatments to help patients more easily understand what options are available. He did great about explaining details regarding the procedure, Including what to expect somewhat for before, during and after. Not great to need surgery, but grateful it will be under better circumstances where possible thanks to him.

He is awesome, very informative and clear about the procedure (surgery) he allowed me to make an informed decision to amputate my finger tip IF there was no viable way to retain it. Great bedside manner as well as his PA Bryce Blackwell.

Dr. Richards was very congenial and he explained the situation with my hands and gave me options of how to deal with the arthritis. They took x-rays so I could actually see what was going on as well. When the time comes for me to do something, I will definitely go back to him.

Dr. Richards is an excellent surgeon who listens to my concerns and has been amazing. He has been instrumental in giving me back the use of my hand. First by being willing to correct a surgery done elsewhere that had failed. He also has a wonderful group of physical therapists who have helped me more than once going beyond expectations in meeting my specific out of the ordinary needs. All the staff in the office are kind and helpful as well.

Best of the best. Patient and thorough in explanation. When another doctor blew me off on an issue, Dr Richards took the time to actually look at tests and find the problem and fix it. I don’t write reviews but in this case, he has been amazing and I appreciate it.
