Pleasant, straight forward
I find Dr. Rossi to be a very pleasant Provider; I feel that he listens to me and is there to offering a helping hand when needed. He was great about encouraging Physical Therapy for some pain I had been passively ignoring - PT was exactly what I needed, to the point where I can't believe I waited so long now that I'm better. He also helped me transition a Rx to the Coastal office (it was a Rx I had with a Provider over an hour away/lost 'personal' connection with over COVID), it may sound small but it was very helpful to me. Dr. Rossi and staff also helped me greatly with the paperwork/protocols of a Leave of Absence I was taking; I hadn't ever gone through it before and they were so supportive of me, my anxiousness with the unknowns I was working through, and my needs in general. I was bummed when my previous PCP left the practice, but truly relieved and grateful to get acquainted with Dr. Rossi.

Dr. Rossi stepped into big shoes when he agreed to take on a large patient load for a physician who passed away suddenly. Although there were a few bumps with scheduling initially, I have always found him pleasant, open, and knowledgeable. He is thorough and has a good knowledge of primary care.

Absolutely horrific experience with Dr. Rossi and Coastal Medical. Neglectful, unprofessional and zero communication. And because of this my mother was hospitalized for 22 days. Dr. Rossi's diagnosis, a bad back and prescribed steroids. Two days later, my mother was rushed to Miriam Hospital where in fact, she had a severe UTI, elevated blood pressure, abnormal kidney and liver function and eventually heart failure. If you have a senior family member under the care of Dr. Rossi, please please be diligent on your loved ones behalf. I personally left five messages for Dr. Rossi. Three through the patient portal, two by phone. I pleaded to speak with someone. Anyone. Dr. Rossi, his assistant, an office mgr., anyone. NO ONE EVER RESPONDED. They literally told me my requests went unanswered because his, Dr. Rossi's secretary was in the hospital. Seriously? Despicable.
