Traumatic experience
I went in for an initial visit. They took me into a separate room while I was waiting. The doctor walked in, looking at his phone, and I wasn't even sure he was the doctor (several people came in and out of the room to grab things). He didn't introduce himself or anything. Before I knew it, he was spraying something in my nose and then shoved a camera down my nose. I was not informed that any tests would be done, nor did I give consent. They fed me food without checking my allergies or anything. Afterward, he shoved a consent form in my face stating he 'forgot' to have me sign it before. It was only after that he would tell me the results of this unknown test. He dismissed all of my concerns and sent me for additional testing. When I went to do that testing they didn't understand at all why he'd sent me. I was so traumatized by the violating experience, I refused to go back for my follow up. I've been too fearful to see an ENT since, so I have yet to get help with my concern.

This review isn't specifically re. Dr. Stephenson, but Peak ENT Associates. Having a very specific, pain problem with my right ear/jaw; I called Peak ENT to be seen by a specialist. Arrived Aug 17. They sent me first to an audiologist after about 25 min. That exam was fine. Then another 25 m wait to be sent to an exam room. I waited over 1/2 hr on a hard table before she came in. I say she as she didn't identify herself, didn't have a name tag and there were none of the usual certificates on the wall. She was Very huffy when I mentioned my wait! I told her what my problem was. Without question she quickly looked in both ears and said that they were all right. End of visit. I left with a feeling they didn't actually have doctors, but were selling hearing aids. Today, I still have the occasional pain (worse than my last ear infection) and really don't know where to get help. I'm a 78 y.o. male with disabilities and was horribly disappointed with my visit.
