Just got a letter that Dr. Townsend is no longer affiliated with Carson Tahoe Medical Group. He was my favorite Doctor! Where did he go??? He listened, allowed me to actively participate in my health care decision, and seemed to really care about my health concerns. He was excellent!

My parents have gone to Dr. Townsend since he opened up practice in the area. I have had a tough time finding a good doctor, and went to him on their recommendation. I was more than happy! He is very professional, listened to me, answered all my questions, and seemed like he really cared and was not one of these doctors that make you feel rushed or stupid. The staff was super friendly. Finally a doctor that I can trust!

He asks his nurses to interrupt appt if it goes over 15 minutes. Horrible attitude and completely unwilling to handle things without referring you to specialist. Would NEVER trust this doctor or advise anyone to go to him. Waste of money and time.
