Dr Walsh seemed to me to be very full of himself, non compassionate and in a hurry the times that I saw him. You can tell he is about how many patients he can see in a day to make that all mighty dollar. He also told me that nobody should be on medical marijuana and that if he puts me on the correct pain meds, I could stop using it. I also asked him if he could just call me with my results because it was hard for me to get in and he told me no, that if he called all of his patients, he wouldn’t have time to see anyone else which made zero sense because that would actually save him time. So I went in for my appointment and he pretty much said, yeah we think you have “blah blah” which I later found out means, we don’t know what’s wrong so here is this generic diagnosis. Two other of my Drs told me this by the way. Needless to say I am on the hunt for a new Dr. Also, the only reason I gave 2 stars is because the staff was absolutely great! Thank you for that ????

Dr. Walsh spent barely 15 minutes with my father in what should have been a thorough initial assessment and diagnosis. He went through the motions to ask a few basic questions but did not take a full history (not even close). His attempt to look at my father's gait was almost laughable. (He did not observe or take a history of gait changes). Gait evaluation (walking) is an important part of diagnosing many of the neurological diseases we were there to rule out or in. He seemed pre-occupied, hurried, very disengaged. He did not review any of the medical records sent to him or offered to him for review. This doctor may be an excellent researcher but he lacks the ability to translate academic knowledge into clinical care. We left Barrow's with three pages of a triple spaced report which literally provided no information, just a minimal summary of what little information he solicited from us. This 15 minutes with him was substandard care. I would not recommend this physician.

Dr. Walsh was amazing. He listened to my detailed history, reviewed and explained all of imaging and reports. His exam was very thorough and he explained clearly his suspicions and recommendations. His staff was just as amazing. I left Dr. Walsh office with complete understanding and hope.

He only spent 20 minutes, in total, with me. He never looked at any of the records I brought with me, including scans. He did not listen to my concerns. By not looking at any of the records I brought, he completely dismissed my symptoms and actually told me not to come back. Extremely disappointed with him, especially since he had a "great" reputation.
