Cold face!
I was seeing other doctors at her group. See her one time and I still remember how I feel when I saw her face! She was cold, show no sympathy and ready to get me out of the office! I don't ever want to see her again!

A Family Affair
Dr Sheikh has been my mother’s physician, as well as my son’s and mine. . As a nurse of 40 years who has known many physicians, there is a solid reason why I trust my health, and my family’s health to Dr Sheikh. She is thorough and thoughtful. I never feel rushed. What is impressive about Dr Sheikh is her focus on preventative health care and not just on disease and medical conditions. I recommend Dr Sheikh wholeheartedly.

The front desk lady scheduling appointment with Dr Saba was very rude, asked my all information at the end saying that Dr not seeing the state insurance patients said that the Dr sees patients with having Private insurance, from her behavior she was very rude.

Dr. Sheikh is easy to talk with and listens.
She listens carefully, which is important to me. I am a Black female Public health professional who has experienced much bias in health care in CA, MD and Washington DC. Dr. Sheikh reaches out to my army of specialists in order to help manage this independent orchestra of musicians. I know the status of my health at 87 and have received concrete advice from Dr. Sheikh on how to manage these remaining years. I am happy to have a reliable co-pilot as I try to bring this life to a smooth gliding landing, with heavy traffic all around.

We used to be close
Dr. Sheikh was my doctor for over 20 years. She recently switched to a “concierge practice”. She tried to sell me on paying $2000 a year out of pocket for this service, which I don’t have right now. Instead of even pretending to be sad to see me go, she made me feel guilty for not joining. So disappointing after you think you know someone for over 20 years.

This doctor has a very poor bedside manner. She is one of the coldest doctors that I have ever worked with. I saw her today. She said that I need intravenous steroids. However, when I asked her to arrange for me to be admitted to Howard County Hospital, which she is affiliated with so that I can be treated with intravenous steroids, she told me that she could not. She proceeded to tell me to go to Johns Hopkins Hospital emergency room downtown and, hopefully, they would admit me. I told her that Howard County is affiliated with JHH. She stated that they do not do the same type of testing. However, any hospital can administer intravenous steroids. I have a rheumatologist who I was getting extensive blood work for today already. None of what she said made sense to me. I will follow up my rheumatologist tomorrow, I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! I will find a new PCP that shows more compassion.
