I couldn’t ask for a better Surgeon and team. They are all amazing from their bedside manner to your overall well being. Always answers questions no matter how small. He plans for his patients individual needs and what’s best for them. I can’t say enough about Dr Mama and his team other than thank you all so much. You are truly appreciated and will refer you to others.

Ruined my wife's life. Dr. Mama performed a laparoscopy on my wife in 2018 for endometriosis with moderate pelvic pain. Immediately after she suffered severe pelvic & bladder pain, and pudendal neuralgia. Three years later we're left picking up the pieces. She has weekly procedures and was told her only options are pain management. We were told by a lawyer Mama has multiple open lawsuits. Unfortunately, we missed our window.

Excellent surgeon. He diagnosed me with Ectopic Endometriosis that many doctors had missed for years. He spends a long time with every patient, very detailed, so sometimes you have to wait longer in waiting room for your appointment, but it is worth it. He is just as detailed during surgery, and uses robotics if needed. I had five surgeries with him, including full hysterectomy. He isn't great with after care past the first week after a surgery. If you have a hysterectomy, he doesn't prescribe estrogen pills but this is because they would only cause Endo to return. However he doesn't really offer any alternatives either, so be prepared. As a side note, herbals like CBD or Kratom do help with hot flashes and similar problems from loss of estrogen.

Dr Mama has provided care to myself and other women in my family for years. We have followed him from Penn to Cooper. He has been my dr for 19 years now. SHe is beyond attentive, knowledgeable and will go out of his way to meet any need. He will definitely gives you an answer by the end of that appt. He listens and takes the time to answer any and all concerns. He literally does everything he can. What i love the most is that throughout all these years he remains the same. He never rushes you.

I had the pleasure of Dr. Mama delivering my baby at Cooper. Somehow he made the experience fun and non stressful. He was truly awesome and we are very grateful. I've never seen him in office but I plan to now.

Dr. Mama, is one of the kindest, genuine, thoughtful doctors I have ever meet before. He takes the time his patients need, and goes over everything to make sure you understand everything. He helped me during a very difficult time in my life, and I don't think I could have asked for a better doctor. I don't normally hug doctors, but after the first time meeting him I did, hes just that type of person, who has a genuine care and concern about your entire well being.
