Dr. Salil Gabale, MD

I called Doylestown Urology to get a follow up appointment to a recent stay at a hospital in Lansdale which was not a good experience at all. The ER left me in absolute uncontrollable pain for more than 6 hours before finding me a room, calling in a urology consult, and getting switched to a pain med that actually worked. After getting discharged, I knew I needed better care and oversight over this kidney issue so I called Doylestown Urology and was able to get in to see Dr. Gabale within 2 business days! He was very thorough, very knowledgeable, and definitely personable. He gave me the time needed to ask questions. I felt very comfortable and confident with all that we discussed. Excellent doctor!

I accompanied my husband to his Urology appointment after an ER visit that confirmed kidney stones. My husband was not able to collect the stones but we went to the appointment anyway, Dr Gabale is compassionate, down to earth, knowledgeable and did not rush the appointment. He stated he would have normally suggested an ultrasound to confirm where the stones were..however my husband was having a pet scan 3 days after the appointment for a different condition.. so he had suggested telling the radiologist to look for the kidney stones on that visit to save time and $I actually saw him in 2018 at a different hospital and loved him then. When my husband was referred to him I said I think that's the doctor I saw and you're going to love him. And we do.. we both love Dr Gabale and would suggest anybody who has a urology problem see Dr Gabale. He's kind, does not rush the appointment, and makes you feel safe, heard, and spent a lot of time on past history. His concern was very much welcome.

He was hired to apply a catheter during a Torn Colon Surgery. Instead of using equipment specific for patient transfer, he decided to help move my husband to the Operating Room Table. After knowing the severity of my husband’s condition he threw his body onto the table, throwing his hip and leg in a very aggressive manor, creating a more painful situation. The scream from the operating room spoke volumes to his lack of compassion. I would not recommend this doctor and hope he tries to learn his trade and how having a bedside manner can come a long way.

I went into Dr. Gabale's Doylestown, PA location. He was very friendly and welcoming but unfortunately I received little to no information. I went in because I had passed a kidney stone.
