Dr. Salil Kathpalia, MD

Been a patient for almost 4 years... I like Dr K.. He pleasant, knowledgeable, and has the wellbeing of his patients clearly as his main focus... Plus he laughs at my jokes

I came to him trying to get help for multiple issues. He would only commit to saying I had depression and only recommended increasing my antidepressants. I've had a lot of doctors like him through the years, and it makes me angry. If I had been in a worse spot depending on him, I'd be in a lot of trouble.

I made an appointment when I was suicidal. Prior to my appointment, I said I received an experimental treatment in the past on an emergency basis, which worked temporarily. I needed a doctor who could put me on meds that would work consistently so I wouldn't need emergency treatments. He cancelled my appointment, refused to even talk to me because he didn't agree with the treatments, which if he'd helped me, I wouldn't need. I left many messages to explain and beg for help. He never answered.
