Dr. Salma Rahimi, MD

I called the office for an appointment and dealt with a young lady that was professional and personable. While she required all my pertinent information to schedule an appointment, it was never rushed nor was she curt. She was truly my introduction to Dr. Rahimi. From the time I entered the office, the receptionist as well as the nurse were both professional. friendly and caring. I did not have to sit in the waiting room for 15-30 minutes waiting to be called. My time was valued and almost as soon as I sat down, my name was called. This alone spoke volumes to the regard that this office has for their patients. Dr. Rahimi had a very soft demeanor, but she truly made me feel like she cared about my health and well-being! When I exited, no one confronted me about a copay as if that was the most important aspect of my visit. I inquired about the copay. I only wish that every experience in a physicians' office could mimic this one because it was excellent! Dr. Rahimi and staff are great!!

Unwilling to help, did not listen to my concerns, would not recommend.

Dr. Rahimi (and her office staff) could not have made the process smoother and easier! She did a wonderful job surgically resolving my issue and I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Salma Rahimi is an excellent, professional, knowledgeable, and caring doctor. I took my 90 year old mother to see her. She was so kind and helpful and looked for the most comprehensive treatment for the problem. I rarely write evaluations but Dr. Salma Rahimi is a rare gem. I highly recommend her. In addition, her staff - particularly Olga was extremely professional and helpful. Excellent experience.

I nervously anticipated a needed hysterectomy, bladder lift, and reconstruction procedures. I was referred to Dr. Rahimi by my long time gynecologist. I found Dr. Rahimi patient and informative; she informed me of alternatives as well as the procedures with great detail. She frequently asked if I had questions or concerns and was able to accommodate my work schedule. Post surgery she called at home and encouraged me to call the office in the event difficulty. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Rahimi performed my surgery and I had little to no pain afterwards. She was kind and informative and I would highly recommend her. I cannot say enough about the treatment I received from Dr. Rahimi and the staff at South Nassau Obstetrics & Gynecology! 5 stars!
