Dr. Salvador De Los Reyes Ramos gave a consultation to my mother when she was admitted to AdventHealth Hospital. We came to this hospital due to the fact that we have received many positive reviews. During the consultation, Dr. Salvador De Los Reyes Ramos exhibited behavior which we found to be extremely unprofessional and rude. Dr. Salvador spoke to my mother in a condescending tone, without showing adequate explanations or showing empathy. As patients we expect to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, which were clearly lacking in this interaction. It is crucial for patients to feel safe and respected when seeking medical care. EXTREMELY RUDE DOCTOR.

He did a gastric bypass on me and I never lost weight. He said he gave me a tool but I didn't use it. Truth is that the tool he gave me was faulty. I never felt less hungry or had less capacity. Endoscopy revealed a very large opening that should have been much smaller. Finally going to Jacksonville next month for an apollo overdrive to correct his lousy work. I would never recommend him. he can be very defensive.

I recently had a ruptured gallbladder which was infected. Dr. Ramos did an excellent job as he was able to make minimal incisions while most other doctors might have had to make a larger on.. He was attentive to my allergies and diabetes ordering just the right pain meds and IVs. As a retired RN, this detail was exceptional. I had to stay in the hospital 5 days post- op as my infection needed IV medication.I am healing well and was so glad that this doctor with so much experience was operate.

AWFUL!!!! Do not see this dr. He performed emergency ostomy surgery on a family member and discharged her from the hospital without the proper TPN leaving her to be severely malnourished and dehydrated. Left her staples in for almost 4 weeks and still wasn't the dr to remove them! This dr has no care or concern for his patients at all! He is a hit it and forget Dr. Unfortunately we didn't have a choice he was the only dr to perform the surgery. Steer clear!!

Dr. Ramos performed a partial gastrectomy with roux-en-y reconstruction in january 2014. He was so great throughout the entire process. The VA sent me to him for my surgery, and I tell you I am VERY happy they did. I went home the next day. He is so knowledgable, caring, professional, yet has such a GREAT personality and "bed side manner". I also called him for abdominal pain later that year. He sent me for tests immediately. Within a week I was in getting my gallbladder removed. LOVE HIM

I am thankful that I chose Dr. Salvador Do Ramos, to do my inguinal hernia surgery. Dr. Ramos promptly arranged CT scans and a surgery date. In the days following my surgery, I did not have enough pain to take any pain medication at all. Dr. Ramos is an excellent surgeon. He paid meticulous detail in strengthening my damaged area, with forethought to my post-surgery experience and the quality of life I would have due to his magnificent surgical repair. I feel awesome and am ever grateful.
