Poor Care
This doctor has complete disdain for his patients. He and the entire 14 Street Medical Arts facility are incompetent and put the patients at risk by not showing adequate attention or reasonable care.

In a hurry.
He seems competent. However, the appointment was rushed, especially for a first meeting.

He is the worst doctor ever. He was least interested in what I was saying. I have seen him thrice so far and don't think I am ever going back. During the first appointment he seemed distant and totally unprepared with details of my case. During my second appointment he had completely forgotten about a very important followup cath procedure and I had to remind him. Even then he was very condescending in his tone and its just downhill from there. He seemed smug, irritated, impatient and almost wants to get out of the room. It seemed so distracted and at various point was rudely telling me that he has heard everything I had to say and what do "I want to do about it". He replies in monosyllables and adopts a "ask me and I will reply approach". I have some serious health issues and it feels dangerous to trust this doctor with my health. It feels like he is being forced to do his job and would rather be somewhere else..his body language, tone and mannerisms does not suit a doctor at all.

He showed zero interest in my issues or condition. Barely asked any questions. Condescending and smug. Never go back.

Compassionate, easy to talk to and ask questions of. Well informed about all areas, not an alarmist but comforting and takes things one step at a time. I always feel I'm in good hands with him. Don't miss out on an excellent cardiologist because of less than five stars. He's a winner!

I've seen Dr. Cavaleri twice and was hugely disappointed. I don't know why he has good reviews on ZocDoc (I didn't book through them, so wasn't able to leave a review there). On my first visit, he literally asked me what I wanted him to do about my undertreated heart condition. On the second, he either didn't look at my chart or immediately forgot it, because he got basic medication information wrong twice. He honestly didn't seem to care at all -- in fact, he seemed bored the whole ten minutes.
