Treated me for osteoporosis. Could not give alternative medicines, couldn't work with my insurance, staff did not know how to prepare prior authorization for insurance, forgot to attach medical records demonstrating I needed the treatment requested. Was denied and had to go get another doctor that knew about my condition and knew how to treat. Office does not answer phone calls and has a website for you to communicate with doctor but he does not reply. In the end the doctor said he did not have staff to prepare prior authorizations. Doctor should have said "I cannot treat you because I do not understand osteoporosis"

It is very difficult to reach any one in the offices or get a return call back. Calling during the very limited office hours sends you to mailboxes or 'dropped calls' where it leaves you with no choice but to call back, only to get a voice mail with no returned response to the message. Getting authorizations for prescriptions is nearly impossible by trying to reach them during office hours. They're hours are very limited and leaving message on their pharmacy line, again, results in no response. Some front office staff seem incompetent. Very frustrating. Dr. Pourbabak may be a decent doctor but dealing with the staff is frustrating and not worth it. If you have a choice, choose another office. Save the aggravation.

I wish I could give Dr. Pourbabak more than 5 stars. He has helped me to reduce my thyroid and glucose to a normal level after less than a year of treatments. Although his office was booked he accepted to see my husband regarding his high blood sugar and high cholesterol and after a short period of time, all have been reduced to a normal level as well. Not only Dr. Pourbabak is an excellent physician, he is very kind and spends time to explain everything. His office staff are also very professional and on time. We have never waited more than a few minutes to be seen for our appointments. thank you Dr Pourbabak Shirin& Parviz

I give this office one star solely because of their terrible office staff. I had been going back and forth for 3 weeks with the front office regarding my prescription and every time I would be put on hold for about 45 minutes. Not only was that frustrating but the ladies preceded to be very rude and careless. They even told me that if I'm not happy with the doctor I can " go find a new one". I'm sure the doctor has no idea what kind of service they provide because they don't communicate with him. For example, I called them last Friday and instead of telling me that the doctor was off on Fridays they lied to me and said that he was too busy with a patient. I found out the truth later from the office manager. In conclusion, you will get no where with a staff that could care less about their patients so I do not recommend this office.

I was extremely disappointed about my visit. I made an appointment out of concern for the severe hair loss I was experiencing at the time. At first, Dr. Pourbabak was very friendly, however, he gave no helpful medical advice, at least none that I could take seriously. As far as taking responsibility, he failed miserably. He somehow managed to lose all of my blood tests, and later blamed my issue with hair loss on evolution. I felt humiliated. His other brilliant solution he suggested was to collect each individual strand of hair that I would lose throughout the day, then put it all in a plastic bag at the end of each day. I couldn't help but laugh. The entire visit was a pathetic joke and a waste of my time. I will not be coming back here, and I would never recommend this place, especially this doctor to anyone I know either.

Thorough, friendly, experienced and completely trust worthy. He found my husband's thyroid cancer and alerted him to his high PSA count, which uncovered his prostate cancer. He discovered my hashimoto's and my 3 nodules on my thyroid. Truly kind and friendly and spends quality time explaining everything. Highly recommended.

Too early to give complete review but so far he seems good. Hard to know on one visit. Very friendly.

Dr. Sam Pourbabak possesses qualities of a true doctor, who pays attention to the patient, not just the disease, and renders accurate treatments. Dr. Pourbabak helped me to mobilize natural resilience to face and fight my illness, hypothyroidism. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Sam Pourbabak!

I don't think I have ever been disrespected, stereotyped, or chastised during any doctor visit. After conducting his required scans, I never went back to see this doctor. Instead, I had my results submitted over to my new endocrinologist. After he referred to my excruciating pain "as nothing," that "a lot of ethnic women complain about the same issue" and "that it's all in my head"....I vowed to never see this doctor again. Terrible bedside manners & misdiagnosed my condition from day one.
