I, my baby, and my husband felt so welcome and well-taken care of by the staff and OBGYN doctor Weed at Virginia Mason Maternal. How I really wished they were our primary care for this 1st time pregnancy.

They took extra time to ensure my problem was looked into and recommended additional steps to keep an eye on my condition.

Amazing provider!
Telehealth
Posting now, but saw her in 2018 and she took the time to recheck my ultrasound and come up with her own opinion when others just read what was on the chart. I really appreciated my visit with her. My baby is now 5 and doing so well!

Dr. Weed has taken great care of me during my pregnancy. She provides enough time during the appointment that I don’t feel rushed and creates a safe place to ask questions.

I had a not so great experience with Dr. Weed. Being that I am a first time mom and it is her job to let me know the concerns that would come up in my pregnancy I felt like she was more interested in having me test for certain things because I am plus size. I actually had no health concerns coming into my pregnancy and my baby was healthy but every time I came to see her I was receiving new information about possible concerns even though looking at my ultrasounds my baby looked great. The final straw was when she told me my baby was measuring small and asked if I had been smoking, drinking, or doing drugs at 26 weeks. I cried during that appt. At the end of that appt she said most likely my due date was off after scaring me. I don’t think she understood how stressful she made what was supposed to be a joyous occasion.

Samantha Weed is great doctor who always makes sure you understand what is going on and your options. Answers every question you may have and always puts patients first. She made me feel safe and that everything was going to be ok when things weren't looking to good. Thanks to her we were able to make it to 41 weeks.
