I've never encountered a more condescending or dismissive attending than Dr.McCutcheon. I first figured it was an off day which everyone is entitled to, but I ended up leaving Harding Outpatient treatment because of her continuously unacceptable tact. The residents were far better with patients than she was. She should not be interacting with patients if at all possible, and I'm dumbfounded as to why she chose to pursue psychiatry with such obvious contempt for patients.

I started seeing Dr. McCutcheon through Harding's intensive outpatient treatment for a particularly nasty bout of clinical depression. Mental illness runs in my family, I had previous dealings with Harding that didn't result in getting me the parent I needed. As a result, I didn't think highly of the hospital. Dr. McCutcheon changed all that, lifting a depression I had experienced since childhood. I now know that successful treatment is the responsibility of the patients too.
