Dr. Samim Giotis, MD

Moved here recently with complicated medical history. Recent spinal cord injury and host of other problems. Dr. Giotis accepted me into his practice and immediately began to manage my care. As a retired physician I can say that he is a caring, thoughtful, and talented physician. I would recommend him to patients and family members.

Dr Giotis takes time to listen. He is not an alarmist but follows up when there is a problem. He remembers details. I am extremely happy to have Dr Giotis as my pcp.

Dr. Giotis really took the time to understand me as a whole, rather than just focusing on one or two symptoms. He took my whole medical history and family history into account. I'm a new patient, so it would have been easy for him to just scratch the surface. He investigated fully and I appreciate his attention to detail. He even called me to let me know my lab results.

Our experience was not acceptable. My husband had an MRI for spots in his liver and could not get the results from this physician even when he called repeatedly. A week later, he finally had to go to the diagnostic facility himself to get the results which been available the day after testing. Another time he was told that he needed to come back to recheck his blood work for a borderline cholesterol lab. He was told it would be checked in 6 months. When he went back, all they checked was his blood pressure and charged full price for the 1 minutes check. His cholesterol was never rechecked. He is a nice person but inattentive.
