Dr. Samina Wahhab, MD

Dr. Wahhab performed my top surgery last year and I couldn't be happier with the care I received or the results themselves. I was nervous about surgery but Dr. Wahhab immediately put me at ease with her positive attitude and answered my (many) questions. My surgery couldn't have gone smoother and my recovery was much quicker and easier than friends who worked with a different surgeon around the same time. Her office checked in through my recovery and I really felt like she cared about how I was doing and that I was happy with my results. I could not recommend her more highly, she is THE top surgeon in PA in my opinion!

Dr. Wahhab was my surgeon for my mastectomies using the double incision method. I was nervous and naive going in to my initial consultation, but she was friendly, clear, and patient in answering all of the questions I had. Her office staff is top notch- the best medical staff I have ever interacted with. Everyone was knowledgeable, pleasant and always available for the most minute of questions. By the time surgery came I felt prepared and like I had realistic expectations. After surgery, I was very concerned about moving the wrong way or doing any tasks, but Dr. Wahhab was great about explaining why I could or could not do things which helped to ease my mind as I moved into daily tasks. She was expeditious and calming during points I was afraid of such as removing drains and bandages. As far as results go, I am very pleased with how it all turned out. I feel comfortable and confident in my body like never before. All in all, a phenomenal experience, I would recommend to anyone.

Cosmetically, she had a difficult task to accomplish and did a pretty good job as far as looks, but I was never warned that the placement of my particular breast implant "situation" would be so far apart to the point that I cannot sleep or even rest on my side without pain (the edge of them is way under the first part of my armpit). Since the surgery, I feel dependent on sleep aids just to get even a wink of sleep regardless of position. I feel that is a reasonable thing to tell a patient. You assume that if a surgeon chooses a certain method, it will be both functional and cosmetically pleasing. My only other small complaint is how uncomfortable she made me feel during the initial exam. I'm a very private person, and it was pretty obvious that I felt upset being that exposed. Rather than comfort me, she made me feel stupid and kind of just gave me condescending feelings. I see many other good reviews, so maybe I caught her on a bad day (or many).

I have seen Dr. Wahhab several times , she is awesome! I am deathly afraid of needles , but now I breeze through the Injectibles and hardly feel anything thanks to her. She is so supportive and understanding and does everything she can to make each visit a pleasure. She is the only one I would let stick needles into my face! Thank you Dr. Wahhab

I have had two major procedures with Dr. Wahab, both followed up with laser scar treatment with Shane Deppen. I had a breast reduction and later, a body lift. Both procedures had extraordinary results! In looking at pics from other surgeons websites, my results looks much better, so natural. Dr. Wahab was able to transform my body with what I viewed as a blend of incredible and well-honed skills and innate artistic talent. Her bedside manner is one that makes you both comfortable and at ease; she is clearly so competent, but also kind. Dr. Wahab is also so meticulous in the stitching that the scars are minimal (I’ve had non-elective surgeries w/other surgeons, for which I cannot say the same). However, laser scar treatment was well worth the money, as I have darker pigmentation, which tends to scar poorly. Shane is so knowledgeable & experienced. She gave me great advice on taking care of my scars and made me feel so comfortable during the laser procedures. The office staff: best ever!

I was having an emergent problem that needed addressing quickly. Dr. Wahhab treated me with compassion,kindness and took time to explain options for my issue. From pre-op, surgery, and post-op care that same compassion and kindness was displayed consistantly. I have already referred others to her for evaluations .

A few years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a lumpectomy. I wanted to have reconstructive work done but I was apprehensive. Dr. Wahhab's kind and caring demeanor immediately put me at ease. She listened to my concerns and answered my questions. Words cannot express my appreciation for Dr. Wahhab and her work. I am so happy!

I wouldn't think of using any other surgeon. Dr. Wahhab and her office team were wonderful from the first call I made to inquire about surgery. I chose to have an arm lift done, but wasn't sure about some things involved. They answered all my questions and Dr. Wahhab is a very caring surgeon after as well. I recommend her to everyone I know.

Dr. Wahhab is absolutely amazing. I felt instantly comfortable the minute I walked in her office. There are no words to describe how I feel after my surgery, she gave me my life back. The absolute best experience I've ever had ANYwhere and an amazing surgeon! The office staff are nothing but helpful and caring, can call a million times w/a million questions, will do everything to answer timely accurately and politely. I had ftm top surgery with Dr. Wahhab on August 9th. Her and her staff were amazing. Very fast to return emails and phone calls. Available 24/7 with any questions I had and took the time to check in with me the day after surgery. I am 100% happy with my results and I have had no complications. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
