Dr.Berkowitz is the best! He is very people oriented and is very compassionate to the needs of others. He explains your condition and provides excellent care for your situation. Very knowledgeable of ailments and provides expert advise. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

Awful experience and care giver. Went in to see him and his decisions are based off of his little side business- selling scooters. Was told to stay off my feet or would be an amputee. Really lousy bedside manner. Recommended a scooter that he had aggressively advertised in his waiting rooms. An obvious conflict of interest and probably gets rewarded for selling or recommending them. Decided to not go back. In my almost 20 years associated with UConn medical- never a bad experience until SB.
