Dr. Pennella is one of the most thoughtful and thorough doctors I’ve ever worked with. Even over telemedicine, he makes you feel seen and heard. He takes the time to really listen, ask the right questions, and get to the root of the issue—not just treat symptoms. You can tell he truly cares and wants to help. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who’s not only smart, but deeply compassionate.

From my first virtual appointment with Dr Pennella over a year ago now, I was reassured that I had found what I needed in a physician. He is attentive, hears and responds to what I tell him. He spends way more time with me, asking questions, listening and responding to my medical needs than any Dr I have had before and I have never stepped a foot into his office. Constantly reevaluating my complaints and symptoms to get me to a healthier state. He's always been very prompt to our appointments, even though I have booked some of them hours in advance. He's always reviewing my records, as we speak and seemingly before we speak so we can get right to the business of my health care. My only worry is what I would do if I lost him as my physician. I'm older now and really need his kind of available, concerned care to keep me going so I can continue to take care of my loved ones and not become a burden to anyone.

Dr. Sam Pennella was inattentive and very unprofessional. When I described my symptoms he made feel worse about myself and started to judge me for taking over the counter medicine. He was quick to prescribe me addictive medications without even trying to understand my underlying issues. Please do not use this doctor!

Dr Penella picked up right away what I needed he is very smart not all doctors are smart. I'm a nurse I meet lots of doctors, this one impressed me.

Awful first visit, he did not care to listen to my issue. Half the time he seemed bored and did not look at the screen during my virtual consultation. When I was describing my illness and had some questions, he brushed me away and was very condescending in his tone. He wanted to just be done with me and collect his fee for the virtual visit, I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
