Assembly line - 2 minute check up and NEXT! Rushed, not thorough. Obviously number of visits per hour takes priority over quality care. Patients are just a number. Strangely he also provides cosmetic/beauty procedures in the office in addition to obgyn care which is a strange combination. Obviously not into the obgyn thing. Unable to get Dr Rafalin to return calls. Office staff incompetent. Office furniture is soiled. AVOID THIS DOCTOR.

My main issue with him is the fact that he is unethical; and I have been advised by both the hospital as well as my own insurance company to report him to the state Board of Health because he literally dropped me as a patient for no reason because he heard I was getting second opinions and left me without care. This is not allowed according to medical standard practices as he is supposed to follow up with care for 30 days, and allow somebody 30 days to find a new doctor -- being pregnant --and five months pregnant I was at the time. He has shown what type egotistical personality problems he has, as good doctors will welcome a second opinion or encourage it, not question you when you get one and then kick you out of the practice for considering a different doctor. This to me was shocking behavior and he became like a complete child refusing to answer or even respond to any of my phone calls ( even when I called as an emergency having severe abdominal pain)

I was referred to him by my women's health NP for a common diagnostic procedure and it ended up being an extremely traumatic experience. If your regular doctor refers you to him for something like this, ask for a different referral or find your own. He did not explain things with enough detail, he had complete disregard for my physical pain and emotions, he was rushed, and he used too much force. I left feeling violated and traumatized by a very common, simple procedure.
