Dr Rossi was one of the best in my opinion!!
Dr Rossi did my gall bladder, umbilical & hiatal hernia repairs and also did my lap band removal and bariatric sleeve surgery. I never had any issues with my surgeries. He was polite and very professional. Always asked me if I had any questions and would explain everything to me and any concerns I would have he always made sure they were resolved. He has 20 plus years experience and if I had it to do all over again he would be who I would choose everytime. Dr Rossi was the best!! I sure miss him now when I go to my appointments.

he may know how to perform a simple laproscopy weight loss surgery but shouldNOT be doing anything more complicated . he lacks the skill for anything more complex and seems more interested in bariatric money making procedures. shame on him and shame on camc! I rate him lower than one star

This surgeon performed hiatal hernia repair on my mother. complications occurred that we were NOT informed of. Instead of spending 1 overnight stay, she was in the ICU for 8 days. She then returned 2 weeks later after having continued complications and was then told of the previous surgical complication: a severed artery. This turned into a 33+ day stay with a second surgery to remove her spleen. His bedside manor was poor and he avoided giving clear answers. Our experience was a NIGHTMARE

Dr Rossi helped me make up my mind to have the gastric sleeve surgery. He asked if I had questions each time I visited. His office staff are nice and helpful although it is very difficult to get a call back if you leave a message.

Weight loss center REALLY dropped the ball AFTER I had been going there for over 6 months. I finished ALL of the pre-requisite appointments and associated appointments with my primary physician, a sleep study, etc. Then the paperwork went to my insurance carrier. WEEKS later I had heard NOTHING from "Amber" or the CAMC Weight Loss Center. I called and called, FINALLY finding that they needed a letter & the sleep study result. AND THEY COULD NOT WRITE NOR CALL ME TO TELL ME THIS IN 3 MONTHS?

Dr rossi himself is a great surgeon. I had my sleeve gastrectomy 5 months ago and I'm already down 75 lbs. My goal is 150 lbs. The surgery and recovery went as smoothly as could be expected. On the other hand, don't expect to keep your appointment times in his office. I've been to the office around a dozen times so far, and I've never waited less than an hour. It's kind of ridiculous. It's like they schedule all the morning spots for a single 15 min block. Some rude staff too. Still worth it!
