Dr. Samuel Roura, MD

I am sharing my experience with Dr. Samuel Roura, who has been providing care to my child for several years. While his care may be suitable for some, I have concerns about certain aspects of his practice.My concerns involve a lack of informed consent in my child's treatment and potential privacy issues, as Dr. Roura has primarily worked with my child's other parent without involving me in decisions. This approach has not adequately addressed changes in my child's well-being.Additionally, I have found communication with Dr. Roura and Francie Isabell to be lacking, as my many attempts to engage with them have not been successful.Others should be aware of these concerns when considering Dr. Roura for care.

If I could give zero reviews, I would. my son has been going to this doctor for a year. They would call me and ask me for payment for the appointment in two hours and then they don’t even show up to the appointment on zoom. This happened multiple times then they just won’t answer the phone. Then I decided to switch doctors because I couldn’t deal with that anymore or constantly running out of meds and them not refilling them for days at a time. When I did switch to a new doctor, I requested all of the records to be sent over all I needed was a diagnosis and the medication’s because he did have a bad reaction to one medication and I needed to know the name for them . It’s been three months and they still haven’t sent it. They won’t answer the phone to my calls or texts all I need are my child’s records. I will be filing a complaint.. Also they are not in Miami so don’t let this business fool you. If you needed to go pick up records from them it won’t happen. You have to wait and hope they send it to you Avoid distress and find someone else

I met Dr. Roura when my mom was still alive; he helped me through some tough times and gave me hope when I hadn't any. My mom trusted their office, and she didn't trust very easily- Francie was the sweetest and Dr. Roura was always professional, philosophical and good at making a heavy situation, lighter. Highly recommend.

Been going here for years. Dr. Roura and Francie are amazing. I moved 190 miles outside of Miami and I STILL drive down for visits. Truly the best, will never change to another psychiatrist.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Roura and his office manager Francie. They actually make you feel as though you are family. Aside from Dr. Roura being the best diagnostician I have met he is also a true expert in the Mental Health field. Dr. Roura is kind, compassionate, and beyond dedicated. For him this is not a job it is his passion and that is evident. Francie is a rare gem she runs that office so well it amazes me. Francie is so compassionate and truly cares about their patients. I’m so grateful I was blessed to be put into their hands. If we had more people like them in the medical field so many problems would be solved. Gayle

I have been a patient of Dr. Samuel Roura for many years. Not only is he a knowledgeable doctor in his field, but he is also a wonderful person. I would highly recommend Dr. Roura to friends and family, and have done so on several occasions.

Dr. Roura is the best psychiatrist I have ever been to! He listens and spends alot of time with me to understand what I'm going through. He has never been anything but kind and polite to me and my family. I am very grateful to him and all he has helped me with. His staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Dr. Roura's cold & offensive, once told me, it happened 3 months ago, just get over it, in response to grief over my aunt's death Im 28, 6 months into 1st relationship in yrs, so I asked him to prescribe birth control, he agreed, but said, my favorite method is aspirin, just hold it between your knees and you won't open your legs, to which I replied, are you serious!? & he said yeah, you didn't think of that did you? I can't believe any doc would say something like that to his patient!
