Just got home from endoscopic abdominal aneurysm surgery performed by Dr Tapper. It’s only been a few days and I’m already feeling back to normal. I feel so blessed to have had such a skillful surgeon.

Staff was not nice. And he is just about money and not patient satisfaction.

Dr. Tapper, Nurse Practitioner Dana, and all of the staff at Symmetry treated me with the utmost respect and encouraged me knowing I was scared to have surgery on my carotid artery. Having this surgery will allow me to live longer. Thank y’all so much for your profession. My neck is healed and my neck incision is nearly nonexistent, Dr. Tapper should have been a plastic surgeon ?? Thank you again to Kris and the girls working the front desk. -Shirley

I was referred to Dr. Tapper by a previous patient. She spoke highly of the surgeon and his practice. I had very bad varicose veins on my right leg which are no longer there thanks to Dr. Tapper. My husband had a very complicated abdominal aortic aneurysm. Could not be surgically repaired in the normal procedure. Dr Tapper was the only surgeon willing to try the repair. It was fantastic. One night in ICU and husband was discharged. I no longer live in the area but would travel back there if I needed vascular surgery.

Great experience with Dr Tapper and his staff. A very skilled & knowledgeable physician, and a well run office with wonderful nurses and staff. Can’t ask for more. I would recommend them to my friends and family. They even called on the weekend just to check up on me. If you need vein surgery I highly recommend them.

I am truly impressed by this vascular surgeon, Dr. Tapper. I travel 2+ hours to see him because of his skills and his safe/modern methods used to surgically intervene and fix clogged veins and arteries. Even my pain doctor requested I have Dr Tapper contact him because my pain doctor would like to start sending patients to Symmetry Vascular Center. The staff in the office are very intelligent and they really know how to make you feel important. I got a call today, the day after my appointment, and I spoke with a nurse practitioner who proudly represented both the surgeon and his practice. I was happy to hear she was taking the extra step to make sure Dr Tapper and my pain doctor work together and she also shared Dr. Tapper’s history. He worked hard to be where he is and it’s very noticeable! Thank you to all!

I recently had a vein procedure done by Dr. Tapper. I felt his knowledge and skill for vein procedure was superior. His staff was outstanding with the caring for and working with me in a personal and professional manner. I would recommend Dr. Tapper and his staff to anyone in need of vein procedures. I have trouble walking for any significant distance. He put a stent in my right leg which has made a remarkable difference. He will be doing my left leg soon. So that should completely fix my distance walking issues. Thanks to you and your team of professionals.

I went to Dr. Tapper because I was referred to him for a DVT blood clot and intermuscular hemangioma. It was a total waste of time and money. He was so dismissive and started trying to sell me on fixing my spider veins. He didn't even share my MRI results with me.. Horrible bedside manner. Would not recommend this doctor for any serious issues.

Dr Tapper and his entire staff are very professional, helpful and friendly! I had bad varicose veins on both legs that had hurt for years! I am now 2 weeks out from surgery and couldn’t be happier!! I highly recommend Dr Tapper to anyone experiencing vascular issues!

Dr. Tapper performed carotid surgery on me. The procedures was explained in detail before the surgery and then he explained it to my family following surgery. I did not experience as much pain or discomfort as I had expected. He and his staff are professional and efficient. I highly recommend this office.

He is terrific, I hadn't walked more than 75 yards without pain in my legs for 18 months. He fixed that for me and I am now able to walk any distance I like. Please go see him, he will fix you as well. Can't say enough good things about him (and his staff). He has a wonderful gift and he is my Hero.

My Dad is a young 91 year who is independent and drives up to see us in South Bend, Indiana. He had seen Dr Tapper for a swollen right calf and wound that was slow to heal. My Dad had been informed that he had a clot in his femoral vein and needed a surgical procedure. I flew down and took him. I had varicose vein surgery today and couldn't be any happier.. haven't seen the results yet because I'm all bandaged up as I just came home but Dr Tapper and his staff were absolutely amazing.. so gentle so patient I could honestly say I didn't feel one thing...I was so nervous coming into the office today but they made me feel so comfortable...I told them I will be back next Friday for the other leg..lol.. cannot wait to see the results...im so glad i found Dt. Only see this Dr if you are superficial and do not need real help with a medical condition that may threaten your health. Also, make sure you have plenty of money. He will make appointments to just talk about what he may or may not do and nickel and dime you. If you bring a friend or family member he will try and sell them on something too. Be warned. The office people are snooty and come off like they couldn't care less about you. They need training in people skills as well as the Dr.

Dr. Tapper is a excellent Vascular Surgeon. He really takes the time to understand his patients conditions, and makes you feel very comfortable. Likewise all his staff.

I made an appt for 2nd opinion , my 95 yrold mother was told her leg needed to be amputated. On the day of the appt I called & was told it was cancelled,no authorization, then 5min laterwas told they did get it, but her appt was cancelled, I went through many hours of trying to get another opinion, only to end up with a bill for a transportation bus I now didn't need. But also critical time wasted and no opinion. Their incompetence cost my mother the need for another opinion, I could of got.c
