Dr. San Tso, DO

I have been a patient with this doctor for about 15 years. She was really good at first but for about the past 10 years she e have had to fight tooth and nail just for her to treat her patients as real people. She has a poor attitude along with most of her office staff. Her nurse practitioners are the only ones I really go in and have visits with because they still know how to give proper patient care. I guess asking to have a phone appointment in a decent time frame was too much to ask for as a patient who is extremely sick and I’ll probably have to go spend all night in the ER! I have officially decided to go through the hassles of finally finding a new doctor. Not just for myself but my parents and siblings as well. I do not recommend her to care for anyone or their loved ones. She ignores her patients needs and refuses to provide them with the care they need. I only gave a 1 star because I have to select one and she doesn’t even deserve that.

I found Dr Tso to be very thorough and professional in my healthcare. She responses quickly to test results and questions. She is also quick to recommend specialists if you need them.

I do not recommend this doctor. She tells you to download the app so you can REACH OUT ANYTIME with questions or concerns. I came here experiencing gallstones and wanted it evaluated, she just rushed me out of her office. She told me “wait for the MRI place to call you” and wouldnt provide a number. After 4 days with no call, I reached out to her office and was given the information to call. The one Dr. Tso sent my order to did not have availability until two weeks. Am I supposed to suffer gallstone pains for that long? I called back her office and was given two different clinics that I had to call and schedule appts and to call back if they had earlier availability. She has 5+ staff and none of them can do this? Got the MRI, told results in 24-48 hrs to my PCP, never heard back from her. My condition worsened and got admitted to the ER. Gallstones caused pancreatitis and required surgery. Thanks for absolutely nothing but costing me money, time, and suffering!

I’ve had Dr. Tso as my PCP for a few years now, this year something happened that went downhill with her office and lack of response. Over the last 3 MONTHS I have called the office multiple times, sent messages through their online portal requesting an appointment and have yet to hear back, let alone even get an appointment scheduled. At this point I have given up and moved on to a new doctor who will see me on Monday. How is it possible that it’s been 3 MONTHS and I can’t get Dr Tso’s office to pick up the phone?! I tried her Stockton and Lodi office. I’ve tried during different times giving them the benefit of the doubt for peak times with no luck. As a medical employee in the field for over 15 years this is poor quality care for it’s patients and disappointment. I have true concerns about this office and practice that I have reported up. Maybe just my experience but I would NOT recommend this doctor or office.

She seems annoyed when I show up for a visit. She always says, “we’ve dealt with this before “, we’ll obviously if I keep going back for the same reason, her treatment options aren’t working. The clerical office staff have attitudes, I have been put on hold for 4-6 minutes and then they hang up. I am in search of a different primary care physician
