It's been over a year and can't prescribe medicine that gets my thyroid levels in the normal range. And prescribing more expensive meds than before. How about we go back to the med that was cheaper and actually did work, makes no sense. Labs and Dr. visits every 3 months, costly and absurd. Cancels apppointments. And then you try and reschedule and there's nothing available for 6 months. Unacceptable! I'm finding a new doctor. I asked the doctor to call me and apparently I'm not an important enough of a patient for Dr. Werbel to even do that. Dont waste your time and money, I'd recommend going somewhere else.

Dr. Werbel is a excellent choice. I would recommend her if she had better staff scheduling her appointments and she was more available than only a few days a week. She is the only dr. that ran the appropriate blood tests and did a ultrasound of my thyroid to see damaged done by hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. If not for failure of staff communication I would give her a higher rating.

Dr. Werbel is an excellent endocrinologist, however has incompetent staff. Impossible to reach Dr Werbel because of the staff barrier. Her nurse has made a huge mistake with my treatment . Would give Dr Werbel five stars and her staff zero stars.

I'm a physician, with more than 40 years experience. My wife was referred by her Internist to Dr Werbel to evaluate and treat her osteoporosis. Lab tests were ordered and obtained. It has been several weeks, without test results. Scheduling her follow up appointment has been most difficult. Dr Werbel practices but two days a week. Her support staff is incompetent. My advice.....seek another medical practice.
