My new GYN Doctor
Dr. Sandy Dorcelus is very nice and kind as soon as she walked into the room she was friendly and introduced herself and asked me my name and made small talk before we started my pap smear. Her staff was very friendly and they communicated everything they were doing to me. We went over birth control options and Dr.D explained everything. I recommend you to go see her on your own before you let the other reviews discourage you. Also, the clinic was very clean.

I will never go back! I left my very first appointment for an annual checkup with her sobbing uncontrollably. She was cold, curt, and acted as if she could not be bothered. When I explained to her that the pap smear was painful for me, she basically told me to get over it. Her behavior towards me was very triggering and the only person in that office who treated me with compassion, care, and concern was a nursing assistant who drew my blood. (I think her name was Shanequa. Shanequa is AMAZING!) A different doctor in my plan referred her to me. I think she provided me this referral because Dr Dorcelus is a woman of color. However, here is a caution to my fellow women of the global majority, ALL SKIN FOLK AIN'T KIN FOLK. To everyone who is considering booking an appointment with her, you will do better finding someone else.

I had a wonderful experience after meeting with Dr. Dorcelus. She was very patient and attentive. As a new mom to be, she answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dorcelus and will be going back.

ZERO stars. Dr. Dorcelus was so rude that I walked out midway through my appointment. She was curt and cold offering no information and little explanation to any questions I asked. She gave me inaccurate details about my procedure and responses that I later learned violated the law. I went to see her after finding out I had miscarried at 12 weeks pregnant, I was visibly upset and she used cruel terminology to describe my situation. In fact, she wanted me to wait almost another week before she would perform the procedure which would have put my health at risk. She does not deserve to be practicing medicine and I certainly do not recommend her to anyone expecting any form of bedside manner. She should be ashamed of the way she treats patients.

Dr. Dorcelus performed a c-section on me in early 2017, that I am still suffering complications from. Her work was sloppy. The left side of my scar was inflamed for so long and remains puffy to this day. Her bedside manner was non-existent. She didn’t even acknowledge me or say hello before cutting me open. And to make matters worse, she spent the entire surgery talking about what she was going to order for lunch. She needs to go back to medical school. It was scary having my life in her hands!

Not Good experience at all. She is not able to make the right medical decisions. All changes in my medications or the need for induction were made by other doctors in the facility .. even the US tech and the Nurses know more than her..
