Dr. Sandy Khin, MD

Dr. Sandy Kin is an excellent doctor. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and ensures I feel heard and understood. Her approach to care is compassionate and thorough, and she always prescribes treatments that are effective and tailored to my needs. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring physician.

I have been a patient of Dr Khin's for almost a decade and she has been a fantastic doctor. She is patient, understanding, and works with me to meet my health goals. She listens to my concerns, and isn't overbearing like some other doctors who think their way is the only way.

Super rude. Rushing. Dismissive. Doesn’t believe in alternative medicine just wants to give pills that will cause more harm. Won’t give referrals.

She always makes me feel terrible about myself. I had a hospital follow up and as she walked in the room she looks me up and down head to toe and says “Been over eating much?” Now my weight was unrelated to my hospitalization and I have a hormonal imbalance that causes weight gain. No, I don’t choose to be fat and no I don’t choose to go to a doctor so she can point out how fat I am in a hurtful way. No just that, she doesn’t believe I have this hormone imbalance despite three specialists diagnosing me with it and treating me for it with success. I wish I could move back to where I was and continue seeing my previous doctor.

Had a new patient appointment, the office called day before insisting that I fo appointment by video... HOW DOES A DR. DO A NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENT OVER A VIDEO???? NO THANK YOU ! I WILL FIND A DR. THAT WANTS TO BE A DR.

My husband and I have been patients of hers for approximately 5 or 6 years. All the staff at Lakeland regional medical that we have encountered have been very nice, detailed and compassionate and yes that includes her. At first her accent was a little difficult too understand but now neither of us have an issue with it. Her bedside manner is impeccable. I definitely recommend her highly. But if you don't want a doctor that actually cares for your health and wellbeing then she's not the one for you. However, if you care about your health and want a doctor that will go out for you then choose her. I can honestly say that we don't regret it at all.

Her office staff is rude and uncaring. They refuse to work you even when the doctor says it is ok. Dr. Khin requires me have lab work every 3 months even if the labs are ok and I can't afford that. Her language makes her difficult to understand. She does take the time to listen to you charges you extra if you take more of her time.

Her main concern is that your labs are in order. I have seen her twice with the same symptoms and each time she only looks at labs.

Horrible woman! Doesn’t care how you feel as long as the labs are within range. Overbearing and rude!

Dr. Khin is a jewel of physicians. I just moved to the Lakeland area and my spouse and I needed a internist. We selected Dr. Khin and we're so pleased we did. Her bedside matter is amazing. She spent more than 15mins listening to my concerns. I totally trust and recommend Dr. Khin.
