THE BEST RA DOCTOR IN EP!
Before I met Dr. Chabra, I was in disable state physically where my arthritis inflammation was very severe and not under control. Dr. Chabra immediately knew which medication would help me best! And sure enough after a couple quick and easy treatments, I began walking again! My life has never been better and am truely greatful for Dr. Chabra as he brought me my life back!

Got worse
Telehealth
Went to this office once had a couple of blood tests, the rest of my appointments were with N.Ps and all virtual. The didn’t know what was wrong with me and just diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis was given harsh meds for almost two years only kept getting worse. Got a second opinion and I was misdiagnosed and gave the wrong medication for years.

Dr. Chabra? I've forgotten what he looks like...
His practice is about pushing very expensive biologics, and not ever physically seeing his patients. I have not seen him in over two years. At first, he had video conferences that did not ever work properly. I spent an entire morning waiting for our session to begin; which only happened after I called his office and complained. Then he went to tele-conferences where you would get a telephone call, talk for a couple of minutes and get charged the same if you had walked into his office. I had severe reactions to the drugs he prescribed. He never saw them physically and prescribed a cream that did nothing to alleviate the psoriasis and superimposed eczema caused by his biologics. The flare-up was so bad that a surgery I needed was cancelled. I now see a dermatologist to try and fix my skin. I am very disappointed with the whole experience and will not go back to him.

I have been seeing one of his PAs who seems incompetent. It is also very hard to get messages through to the PA as you have to go through a receptionist who mumbles and is not very helpful. It is too hard to get a decent doctor/healthcare provider out here, so I guess I am stuck until I move.

Dr. Chabra is a very caring, and outstanding doctor. He treats my arthritis. Unfortunately, his receptionist is rude, manipulative, indifferent to his patients. At my last visit I was seen Dr. Chabra’s assistant. She prescribed hydroxychloroquine, which caused severe side-effects after taking it for a month. I had heart palpitations, short of breath, and loss of appetite. I called today to make an appointment with Dr. Chabra. His receptionist asked me who is my doctor that referred me. I told her that I was an established patient and that she had that information. She hung up on me; I called again, when I told her of the adverse side effects, she scheduled appointment me 3 weeks later. I asked for an earlier appointment; she was indifferent; did not ask how I was feeling. Ultimately, the responsibility the patients’ falls on the practitioner, not the receptionist. In this case the receptionist has quite a bit of power as she can delay appointments simply because she can

Not professional at all. After his assistant checked me, he then walked in and looked at the filled form by his assistant. The total time from his walking in to disappearance was less than 5 min. The worst part is that he never ever called back to respond your questions left to the front desk.

Dr. Chabra was able to diagnose me with several auto-immune diseases. He targets what I need and explains my treatments in detail. He is an advocate for patients who really need treatment and have difficulty getting it.
