Terrible Doctor
The Doctor actually spent all of 5 minutes with me. He basically said your labs are fine, do you need any prescriptions filled. He did not check my heart, lungs, reflexes, throat, ears etc. - no exam at all. His front desk staff is awful. They changed my appointment time and did not bother to call and ask if that was ok. They have no personality, NONE!!!

Dr. Madan is ONLY good for giving referrals! He is very "hands off" in office visits. His idea of a physical exam is to listen to your heart and chest. That's it. Don't expect to get any decent care from this man!

A friend had persistent cough. Called office expecting to receive the usual amoxicillin which was effective in the past. Instead, received Levofloxin. Trusted dr. On the fifth day of ten, woke up with terrible neuropathy in right foot and calf. Looked at the warning which came with medication and learned, to his horror, that there was a black type warning - Use as last resort for those over 65; has caused permanent nerve damage including torn tendons. Has caused permanent nerve damage. Told dr on next visit. dr stated that he never reads those warnings and that everything would be ok. Seemed very unconcerned. He's wrong. There is permanent neuropathy. Hope he doesn't cause any such damage to anyone else.

A family member was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer 1 week after an office visit with Dr. Madan due to chest pain, difficulty breathing, dizziness, and extreme fatigue. His advice was to take it easy and when dizzy, make sure to hold onto something to get steady. A week later my family member was admitted to the hospital, diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer and they removed over 1.5 liters of fluid from the pleural space the same day. Dr. Madan is concerned about his image & a payday.

Easy to talk to, actually looks at you and listens. Great sense of humor and bed side manner. Lets you know that you are important, and, if going to spend extra time with another patient in need, tells you in advance. You don't mind waiting a little extra when you know how you'll be treated if you need him in a more desparate manner.

Dr. Madan has been our primary care physician for over 13 years and has always showed a sincere interest in doing what is necessary to keep us in good health. My wife's recent bout with cancer was an excellent example of his concern by calling us Friday after hours to go to ER to get a CAT scan. I think in most cases other doctors would have waited until Monday. Thanks Doctor Madan for your quick follow-up.

lack of basic consideration for patient care and comfort, no urgency for care in a life threatening diagnosis. Only worried about the money from insurance companies.
