I went in for a routine checkup to ensure everything looked good cardiovascular wise after a minor concern from my primary care. The staff was very friendly leading up to the appointment and during the appointment the staff and Dr. Sharma were excellent and made me feel like I was being listened to. Explanations were clear and not rushed. Of course, I was only in for a minor checkup so I can't speak to more intensive care/treatment but so far I have no reason to think of needing to go elsewhere in the future.

After one year of taking one tablet a day, Dr. Sanjay Sharma examined me today and continued my heart pressure pill after his nurses checked my heart pressure and then did an electro cardiogram. He will be seeing me one year from now. At 80 he said I look like I'm 60 years old. I was very pleased.

Dr. Sharma earns 5 stars; the Heartbeats Chevy Chase office earns ONE star, and that is a charitable gift.

He was amazing. Made time for me for an urgent cardio clearance two days before my surgery date so I would not have to postpone it.

Patient abandonment. He abandonons patients. If i knew the law i would have sued him DO NOT GO TO HIM. i repeat DO NOT. Crap doctor.

We have been going to Dr. Sharma for some years. Our initial visit was in the hospital and we couldn't have been more pleased with Dr. Sharma. The procedure was smooth and his support above average. Unfortunately, the staff is another story. We have had several occasions where appointments for tests requiring fasting were cancelled and we were not notified until we showed up. Endless times where phone calls were not returned or lab tests not communicated. Horrible front office. We may change...

I visited Dr Sharma by chance because the Dr that I got referred was out of country. As soon as I entered the waiting room, I noticed that it is full of patients and thought it would take hours for me to see the Dr. I was called within 30 minutes and while waiting I saw a very young Dr. came out, took his elder Patients purse and held her hand to guide her in, that was Dr Sharma. His behavior was very nice and his patients were talking positively about him, I am sure he earned it. God Bless ??

Dr. Sharma is my cardiologist, he changed my blood pressure medication and the new medication elevated my blood pressure to 223/124 I called and have left him several messages with the receptionist. I don't know if messages are not getting to him or is he just ignoring them. I am at the point of changing my cardiologist poor service and very unprofessional.

Dr. Sharma was recommended to me after my trip to the emergency room. He was one of the on call cardiology doctors during my 8 hours there. I have total trust in his decisions. He is very caring and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to all that are experiencing any heart problems!
