I was so impressed with Dr. Sathpathy. Very compassionate and was extremely supportive. An amazing doctor.

Dr. Sathpathy is compassionate, seeks to understand and take time to clearly answer questions.

I recently relocated to California from Hawaii and needed a doctor located in CA. I googled 'Best San Diego Psychiatrists' and found Dr. Sanjoy and his great reviews. When I arrived for my appointment Dr. Sanjoy came to the lobby and showed me to his office. I put off establishing a new doctor for almost a year because having to explain your entire life and relive old memories with a stranger can be awkward and stressful. When I arrived for my appointment Dr. Sanjoy came to the lobby to greet me and showed me to his office. Dr. Sanjoy took the time to understand my needs and me as an individual. He asked the right questions and was tasteful to did not dig too deep into past traumas that have already been laid to rest. The front desk receptionist are both VERY professional and quick to respond to correspondence. I am happy to be in good hands.

Out daughter was so well understood by Dr. Sathpathy. She has received a very good treatment and is improving. Doctor was also able to explain everything to us parents. Office staff is also very nice.

Dr. Sathpathy has taken over the medication management of my youngest and most complicated kiddo. He is thorough, asking questions, making slow changes, and respecting concerns

Dr. Sathpathy is not only a great listener but provides insight based on my situation. He and the staff are thorough and compassionate. I'm grateful to have found him.

The front desk staff is always helpful, kind, & courteous. They communicate well and always help when you need to be on the waiting list to get in sooner. Come to think of it, over the last six years, we have always had great interactions, never anything less! Dr. Sathpathy is also wonderful!

Dr. Sathpathy is a very calm and thoughtful doctor. He asked me all of the right questions in an order that made me feel very comfortable. Opening up to a new person that you have never met can be challenging but his calm demeanor and his genuine caring attitude made it very easy to speak to him.

Dr. Sathpathy is a truly exceptional psychiatrist. I make this statement, based on my experience, as a former professional, who managed a group of Psychiatrists; and as a former patient of Psychiatrists. Working with Dr. Sathpathy has been extremely helpful for me. I have a brain infection and a tricky psychotropic regimen. My goal is to try and reduce the amount of medicine I take. He is very thoughtful about any medication adjustments that he makes, and helps me to understand the logic behind the steps we take. I feel as though Dr. Sathpathy is joining me in the process of using psychotropic medicine to help me feel and function the best that I can. I have worked with 3 other Psychiatrists in the past. Comparatively, I experience Dr. Sathpathy to have the most patience and best knowledge of polypharmacy. I'm glad to be a patient under his care.

Dr. Sathpathy asked me detailed questions and I didn't feel rushed. He was patient in answering all of my questions about medication. Overall positive experience.
