Listens well, wealth of experience
Santiago Jose Munoz, M.D. is at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. He listens attentively and you know this because he follows up with detailed questions, and discussion. He has so much knowledge he can extemporaneously educate you, which makes you as a patient more knowledgeable in caring for yourself. He is patient too. On the day of my visit I saw other patients being pleased with his service as well. I highly recommend him. I finally feel like I am properly being looked after at this hospital. I have hope.

I love him!!! He has been my Hep dr for 15 years! Hanneman just closed where is me going to practice???????

I have never met a more caring and knowledgeable doctor. I was referred to Dr Munoz by my gastroenterologist and I am so very grateful! I had two autoimmune diseases that led to an eventual liver transplant. He understands autoimmune diseases better than any doctor I’ve ever known. Because of Dr Munoz I always felt well taken care of and my questions answered. My transplant was in 2012 and I’ve been fine ever since! It was a pleasure seeing his smiling face at all of my appointments for all those years! He saved my life with his wonderful care and his attention to details and I will always keep him in my heart! Love this Dr. He saved my life ! Started seeing him in 1995. I was very bad, needed a transplant, and put on a list, but was given medicine and within a few months , Dr Munoz seen a slight improvement. Was his patient for about 18 years. With his help and determination I am in good health. I have a check up every 6 months for my Liver and Hep B, and everything is normal. Thanks to him I'm living my life as best I can. My Family Dr. Checks my Blood work every 6 mos, also ultra sound 1 x a year

I have been seeing Dr. Munoz for 17 years now. I love him. He is always on his game. Very professional yet very personable. I always leave his office feeling heard and well cared for. Where ever he goes I follow.
