Dr. Sara Dann, MD

I made a point to have a prior discussion with her regarding my son's serious mental health issues. When we went to the appointment she forgot about that and asked me to review the issues in front of him. I did so, but felt uncomfortable as I didn't think that was best but I was caught off guard and was feeling vulnerable because of my son's issues . She was nonchalant about having forgotten. She mismanaged the appointment to the point of detriment to my son. I found her to be careless and rushed. Everyone I asked for a recommendation gave me her name first. I don't understand why that is. I suppose her name keeps being passed on without really knowing the quality of her practice. Given the shortage of qualified psychiatrists she keeps being recommended over and over again, undeservedly. She is uncaring and unprofessional and in my opinion just interested in collecting her exorbitant fees. She was also late which is not a big deal. She left us waiting in an area without anywhere to sit and didn't apologize.
