Dr. Sara Furr, MD

I strongly discourage anyone from going to Sara Furr, MD, or her office. My 93-year-old father-in-law, who recently had a stroke, has been waiting months for a wheelchair. After repeatedly following up, we found out the office still hadn’t handled the situation properly.When we called to ask where the wheelchair was, they told us they don’t do “outside” wheelchairs and that the doctor had only written the prescription for an indoor wheelchair. This is outrageous, considering we clearly told the doctor the wheelchair was specifically needed for outdoor use.This entire process has been a nightmare. From taking over a month to fax paperwork to writing the wrong prescription, this office has shown a complete lack of competence and compassion. They even expected my father-in-law, who cannot use a walker, to come into the office in freezing weather instead of offering a video call.This is by far the most disorganized and unprofessional medical office I’ve ever encountered. Stay far away

Dr Furr is fantastic. She listens to my concerns and provides great recommendations.

Dr. Furr has been my PCP for years. She moved from Thomasville to High Point. I thought I would stay with the Thomasville office. What a BIG mistake. After a visit or two with them I knew that I was going back to Dr. Furr. She gets to the root of your problem rather then rush you in and out. I WILL NOT go to anyone else, I have learned my lesson/ Dr. Furr is the greatest.
