Knows what she is doing
Been a patient of Dr. Landers for many years. She is smart, has good judgement and knows what she is doing- and that is what it is all about.

The Best
She is so wonderful. She does not rush you through and was really interested in helping to find what to do with my back problems. She gave me a great referral and I felt very confident in what she said. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great doctor.Jill Turec

Dr. Lander is a fine and caring physician. Thorough. Thoughtful. Smart. Other than her PA, her office staff leaves much to be desired. I've resorted to writing snail-mail letters to her because getting through otherwise is so difficult, and the My Saint Lukes portal has never worked well for me.

Been with Dr. Lander for 15 years. She was great in the beginning but level of care and service has diminished steadily over the years. I hate having to call office staff is so rushed they won't let you finish a sentence. Getting a prescription refill is extremely difficult and time consuming. Looking for someone new.

The good news: Dr. Lander is a great diagnostician. But the bad news: her office is so poorly run that I can't figure out why she hasn't been sued. Last month: I called in a refill for a medication I've been taking since 2003. Lander's assistant denied the refill. I called to correct her, and she told me there were no medications on my chart. I take 6 medications every day and I've been taking them for many years. Since then Lander's assistant has told Walgreens that Lander has never been my doctor, she has failed to send my wife's insurance codes to St. Luke's for lab work, she doesn't return our calls, and no one would give me the results of my scary heart test. I have now left Lander's practice and gotten a new doctor, and so has my wife. We are in our late 60s and very afraid that Lander's assistant's negligence was going to cause our deaths. I emailed Dr. Lander to tell her about her assistant's atrocious work but she doesn't care - no response.

This place is the worst! Rude staff, the "Doctor" is not interested in your concerns and doesn't listen. This office is the reason people hate going to doctors. There are good offices and docs to be found, this one is NOT EVEN CLOSE to what good pt care is about. Just keep looking.

My family has been going to Dr. Leander for nearly 20 years. The treatment we have received over the last 10 years is horrendous. The doctor herself can be very rude and rushed and the staff is rude and unfriendly. Apparently Dr. Lander has outgrown her practice and the patients can rarely get an appointment to see the doctor only the nurse practitioners. Dr. Lander won’t even take the time to call the patient with test results even when the results may be serious she has her MA make the call and they are about as stupid as stupid can get. I finally left the practice after nearly 20 years and have found a new Doctor who truly seems to care about her patients. This is one of the most unorganized and unfriendly offices I’ve ever dealt with!

Had appointment scheduled after release from hospital & rehab hospital at 11:00 a.m. Arrived at 10:45, sat until 11:45, went to desk to find out what was going on. Rudely said I was next. Waited for another 15 minutes. Nurse was training someone, both knew I was not happy. I actually didn't see Lander, saw her NP, Jamie, took another 20 minutes, did nothing listen to heart & lungs, wasted 2 hrs Asked why took so long, said they had computer problems from 8 - 10 that morning. Lousy excuse

I have had a series of issues with this office relating to being on hold for 25-41 minutes, not answering the phone, not returning my phone calls, failure to obtain medical records, calling in my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, etc. I am considering a new PCP because of this office.

Trying to make contact with the doctor is impossible. Turnover in staff seems constant. Staff is rude, especially Renee. Never see the same nurse twice since Jenny left. When I arrive in the office I am rudely asked if I have an appointment and when did I make it. Getting refills on prescriptions can be a battle. There does not appear to be another doctor that covers when Dr. Lander is unavailable. Dr. Lander may be a competent physician, but her staff is horrible.

I first met Dr. Lander 2017. I connected with her on that first visit. She takes my concerns seriously and advises me accordingly. I like that in less than one year I will have met with Dr. Lander three times, as opposed to the nurse practitioner. I'm not sure what happened with the previous three reviewers; my visits have been pleasant. In the future I my catch her on a bad day; however, the initial connection will help weather any storm.

I called for an interview visit to decide if I wanted this doctor as my primary care physician. After I received the bill I was told by the office manager that they do not take interview visits. The bill was over $622.00. I saw her all of 5 minutes after which I decided she was not the doctor for me. I called the office to try to explain this and was rudely hung up on by the office manager. I asked that the bill be reviewed but I don't think it will be. To be finished if she calls back!
