I had consulted 6 different local physicians in New Jersey, for almost two years, who misdiagnosed my problem until Dr. McGee correctly identified it. A second opinion at Dana Farber, Boston, (Dr. Jorge Castillo) confirmed the diagnosis, and treatment she prescribed. I find her a kind, friendly, empathic individual, and excellent practician. Dr McGee warmly welcomed cooperation with another specialized team. With gratitude, I recommend her as a hematology, oncology specialist.

I have seen Dr Sara Mcgee twice at Riverview Medical Center. She was exceptionally thorough with my complex health issues. She listened and offered an individualized treatment plan. She answered all my questions and never made me feel that she was rushed for time. I recommend her without reservation.

wouldn't be treated by anyone else. She is extremely good at what she does, she gives her patients lots of time which is why she may run late BUT every patient gets the same amount of time. Its your responsibility as the patient to come prepared with your questions. Any/all doctors do a great job when they know what you are concerned about, bring all your records so she has the complete picture so she can work her magic. She has always & is always open to questions. concerns etc.

The last two reviews sound like people who are never happy. Dr. McGee has been wonderful to me and her staff is usually very helpful. Isn't it amazing how people never leave their names when they are shooting off their mouths?

Staff rude. Not very nice at all. Your already nervous when going in you don’t need the tension of a rude staff. Staff is not knowledgeable they pass things off on each other in front of you. I have heard Doctor yelling at staff.

Our experience with Dr McGee and her office is absolutely horrendous. My mother has stage 4 cancer. and ran out of her pain medicine. She called the office to have the script renewed. After 1 week with no response, other members of my family decided to step in and help as my mother is 85. 5 days later STILL NO CALL from the front desk DONNA or LINDA and nothing from the doctor. I will be calling medicare, the insurance co and a few others. She took an oath to do no harm and certainly is..

She never reviewed any test results before meeting with us for my father's cancers. Always behind the eight ball. She's obviously got too many patients. She admitted my father into the hospital on a Monday and after meeting with half a dozen doctors throughout the week about his various issues, she finally called me Friday morning saying he could be discharged. We never knew day to day what was going on with him. Doctors we had never met before, sat us down and talked to us. She was MIA.
