I am a third year medical student who was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's, an autoimmune hypothyroid condition. My antibodies are so high (over 1300) that the lab can't detect levels past that to know the true level I am at. Looking back in my patient portal, I see that I had antibodies elevated enough to make a diagnosis -- yet still under 50 -- compared to my OVER 1300 NOW, when I was her patient four years ago. She checked my antibodies, the lab flagged it as hashimoto's, yet Dr. Wine never mentioned it to me or offered me any sort of thyroid support to prevent my autoimmunity from worsening. I cried when I saw that. I am becoming a physician to help patients stay away from people like her. She could have prevented my autoimmune disease from getting this bad because she had the lab results FOUR YEARS AGO that could have stopped the autoimmunity in its tracks -- yet she didn't even inform her patient of the pathology. Please, do yourself a favor and run far far away from her

All l can say is "Thank You" to Dr. Wine for being in the practice she is in, for listening, truly caring & guiding me through post partum depression. Dr. Wine was there when my GYN ignored me when I was in tears & asked for blood work to be done, telling me I will be fine. I was referred to Dr. Wine by my Chiropractor & am blessed because of them both! I now can truly enjoy my daughter, husband and life again! Thank you again Dr. Wine and staff for your support & guidance!!!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Wine?
This practice made numerous mistakes over the 1 year course of my care. Of course I understand that mistakes can be made, but there were SO MANY, including giving me the wrong prescription, which I took for 3 months. The part that disturbed me so much was that this doctor/staff wouldn't "own" these mistakes. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this doctor due to an unusually high number of errors regarding my care. Dr. Wine is abrupt and does not like questions/to to be questioned.
